History
◦ These are the emotions on which we have based
our attitude towards viticulture from the very
beginning. When it was established, in 1990, our
winery was the first small private winery in Serbia.
We had only one goal, which was to produce high
quality wine that would bring Serbian viticulture
closer to global standards. We are still on the same
path, in search for the best wine that one day would
place Šumadija, and the whole of Serbia, on the top
of global viticulture.
◦ The tiles in this mosaic have been carefully
stacked, so that today Podrum Radovanović is one of
the most renowned private wineries in Serbia, and
beyond, which produces high quality wines.
Creating wine
◦ Miodrag Radovanović has inprinted thirty years of experience as an

oenologist and the knowledge base gained at the Univeristy of Belgrade
into all our wines, making them distinctive and authentic.
◦ As one of the best and most experienced Serbian viticulturists, he
knew how to combine the abundance of nature and serious and
systematic work, first in the vineyard, and then in the cellar as well.
◦ In our case, the primary and only goal of using modern technology is
to preserve what grapes give us when it is harvested and to create a
distinct link between its best characteristics and those reflected in our
wines.
◦ Along with the production part of the winery, featuring state of the
art equipment that enables us to apply the latest information in
oenology, we are especially proud of the part of our cellar where, as in a
type of art workshop, we keep our highest quality wines in barrique
barrels made of French, American and Serbian oaks.
◦ We are playing a game with nature and its gifts which results in the
creation of finest wines from Podrum Radovanović.
Chardonnay

◦ The light yellow colour with greenish

reflections. The clear and sharp flavour is
harmoniously blended with notes of citrus,
especially grapefruit and lemon, followed by
green apple, quince and wild flowers. The
taste is characterised by pronounced mineral
character, which is embroidered with vivid
acids and subtle fruity tones, similar in profile
to that of the aroma. A crunchy, smooth and
fresh wine, with pleasant bitterness in the
aftertaste. Intense finale characterized by
freshness and minerality.

SHARACHERISTICS
◦ It is fermented and then aged in oak barrels for 12 months, which resulted in great complexity.
Golden yellow with greenish reflections.
◦ The light yellow colour with greenish reflections. The intense and complex flavour is
characterised by a wide range of aromas: wild flowers, chamomile, cut grass, basil, hazelnuts,
biscuits, baked bread, ripe yellow apple and mango, rounded by notes of oak. To the taste, it has
pleasantly interwoven notes of citrus and ripe apricot, with vanilla-like tone of oak and minerality. A
full bodied, buttery, well balanced, very persistent and complex wine, with tame and pleasant acids.
The finale is characterised by elegance and harmony.

◦ Light yellow, straw colour, very clear and fluid in the
glass. The elegant aroma is a fine blend of intriguing
notes of tropical fruit, with herbal and floral character.
To the taste, it has expressed pleasant notes of ripe white
fruits, which are imbued with fresh acids. A full bodied,
refreshing and smooth wine, with refined texture and a
long, intense finale.

◦ The tender, bright ruby red colour with orange highlights. The
intense and alluring aromas of this wine are accentuated with floral
notes, especially those of roses, which are harmoniously embraced by
fruity tones - ripe cherries, sour cherries, blackberries and plums. The
taste is characterised by an elegant collage of fruity notes -
strawberries, cherries, blueberries and red currants. A harmonious and
smooth wine with exquisitely balanced sweetness and acidity. The
finale boasts with emphasized elegance and delicate fruit character.

◦ Clear and intense ruby red colour. The clean aroma has prominent
typical varietal characteristics, with dominant notes of ripe sour
cherries, cherries and blackberries, followed by a hint of discreet
herbal character and pepper notes. The aromatic profile continues to
the taste, where this wine exhibits a rounded and clearly defined
character. A semi-full body, very smooth and well-balanced wine with
vivid acids and soft, ripe tannins. Very smooth in the finale, which is
fruity-spicy in character.

◦ 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc
◦ SHARACHERISTICS
◦ Eighteen months of aging in wooden barrique barrels resulted in
great complexity and power of this wine.
◦ Intense ruby red colour with a slight, bright red glow. The mature,
intense and complex aromas are accented by blackberry, ripe sour
cherry and black cherry, raspberry, herbal and spicy tones, followed
by the notes of vanilla and toast. A full bodied and powerful wine,
whose distinct taste is characterised by notes of sour cherry, blueberry,
cherry, black currant, vanilla and dark chocolate. The strong tannic
structure makes it robust, while the intensive finale shows its full
potential and completeness.

◦ The exceptional nature and complexity of this wine are the result of
eighteen months of aging in new barrique barrels of Serbian, American
and Slavonian oaks, followed by a year in the bottle.
◦ Deep, intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The luxurious
and extremely complex aromas are dominated by notes of blueberry,
blackberry, red currant, mulberry and ripe raspberries, complemented
by the vanilla like tone of oak and notes of dark chocolate. The taste is
full and steady, similar to the aromatic character, very balanced, both
powerful and elegant, with lots of very soft and ripe tannins. The finale
is dominated by attractive notes of oak, which rounds out the
complexity of this wine.
