OBJECTIVES:
1. To assess the knowledge of the learners in current Mathematics curriculum.
2. To know the strengths and weaknesses of the learners.
3. To create intervention plans based on the test results.
4. To address the needs of the learners in Mathematics.

PARTICIPANTS:

 Teacher
 Learners

Narrative Report:

RMA is the new mathematics assessment for learners in grade 1, Grade 2 and
Grade 3. It is also conducted at the beginning of classes for the school year during the
first quarter. This assessment is used to evaluate the mathematical proficiency of the
learners. This tool is used to gather data that will lead us in identifying the strength
and weaknesses of the learners that need to be addressed. We are aiming to empower
us to champion educational equity through this assessment.
The mathematics teacher assessed the learners using the RMA tool with a time
limit and recorded their score in the scoring sheet provided. Base on the result the
teacher encoded it to know the level of the learners and see who needs to have
interventions or attend remedial classes.
Based on the result of the assessment, the teacher will be able to identify the
learners who need more attention in mathematics and also it is very helpful in
addressing their needs and to come up with different techniques to help the learner
cope up with the lesson they find difficult for them.
