Greetings from the IAGES Central Office

IAGES has now become one of the largest academic forums on the global stage of Minimal
Access Surgery with close to 10000 members. Teaching, training, and knowledge sharing are
the key attributes of our association. FIAGES (Fellowship in Essential laparoscopic Surgery),
EFIAGES (Fellowship in Basic flexible endoscopy) FALS (Fellowship in advanced laparoscopic
Surgery in 7 subspecialties namely Upper GI, HPB, Colorectal surgery, Bariatric surgery,
Robotic surgery, Hernia, and Oncology) FAGIE ( Fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal
endoscopy in 4 subspecialties namely Colonoscopy, ERCP, Therapeutic Upper GI, and 3
rd space endoscopy) are the regular fellowship courses held periodically in various instittions
across our country.

Thanks to Dr. Pradeep Chowbey and Dr.Manish Baijal and their team @ Max
Healthcare, we are pleased to bring FALS Robotic Surgery to our capital city.

FALS Robotic Surgery is the advanced MAS course in the art and science of Robotic surgery
with key lectures, panel discussions, and live operative workshops to finetune our cognitive
and technical skills. There will be special emphasis on the role of robotic surgery in the
management of hernia and various benign and oncological conditions. This will be followed
by an assessment module with 100 questions MCQ and Viva for all fellowship candidates
joining as examination category. Successful fellowship candidates will be conferred FALS
Hernia (Fellowship of IAGES) during the convocation on 4th February 2024 in Chennai. Please
note that IAGES membership and registration to IAGES 2024 Chennai are prerequisites to
obtaining fellowship certification.

We look forward to welcoming you to Delhi for this academic feast and festival.

We convey our heartfelt wishes to team FALS Robotic Surgery @ Max Super Specialty Hospital,
