Factor I – Planning and Coordination (Qualities of the mind (intellect))

Factor II – Social Adjustment (Qualities of the heart)

Factor III – Social Effectiveness (Qualities of the Gut – Leadership)

Factor IV – Dynamic (Qualities of the limbs)


BEHAVIOUR CONSISTENCY PRINCIPLE
• The best predictor of future behaviour/ performance, is
past behaviour in similar circumstances.

• The more recent the past behaviour, the greater the


predictive power.

• The more long lasting the past behaviour, the greater


is its predictive power.
FACTOR – I (PLANNING & ORGANISING)

Effective Intelligence: Ability to find independent solutions to complex practical


situations – Practical intelligence and Resourcefulness

Reasoning Ability: Ability to grasp essentials of a problem and arrive at conclusions


with logical reasoning; Inquiring Attitude, Receptivity, Logical Reasoning, SEOP

Organising Ability: The ability to arrange the resources in a systematic way so as to


produce effective results – best use of the available means for the desired results

Power of Expression: Ability to put across ideas adequately with ease and clarity
FACTOR – II (SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT)
Social Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the social environment and adjust
well with persons & social groups – superiors, equals, subordinates. Social
Intelligence, Attitude towards others, Tact and Adaptability.

Cooperation: Willing participation with others to achieve the group goals.


Keeping the group aims ahead of individual aim . Collective effort more
effective than individual efforts. Joint effort and team spirit

Sense of Responsibility: Enables a person to be dependable and willingly


discharge his obligation. Faithfully and firmly doing what one is told to do &
acting strictly in accordance with rules and regulations.
FACTOR – III (SOCIAL EFFECTIVENESS)

Initiative: To originate purposeful action. Taking the first step, in the


right direction and sustain it.

Self Confidence: Faith in own abilities to meet stressful situations,


specially of the unfamiliar kind.

Speed of Decision: The ability to arrive at a workable decision


expeditiously. Appropriate and quickness in arriving at the decision.
FACTOR – III (SOCIAL EFFECTIVENESS)

Ability to influence Group: Enables an individual to bring about willing


effort from the group to achieve objective desired by him. This influence
is the primary reason for cooperation and willing effort of the group.

Liveliness: Capacity to keep oneself buoyant when meeting problems


and bring about cheerful atmosphere.
FACTOR – IV (DYNAMIC)
Determination: A sustained effort to achieve objectives in spite of obstacles
and set backs. The capacity of physical application to work and inner motive
power at the disposal of an individual.

Courage: The ability to appreciate and take purposive risks willingly.


Capacity to keep oneself composed under adverse situations.

Stamina: The capacity to withstand sustained physical and mental strain. It


emphasizes endurance.
