Planning a trip?
Sounds like fun! However, there are a few things you need to be aware of before taking flight with us. It’s
important you know our policies in order to comply and ensure your PIREPs get accepted.
This guide is a comprehensive yet simple overview of vEZY policies and how to comply with them.

Our livery policy

All vEZY flights must be flown with easyJet liveries. We fly with a range of aircraft from the Airbus A320
family and liveries must comply with our livery policy in order to be accepted.

You MUST fly liveries with correct registrations for that type. This means liveries with A320 registrations
must be used on A320s only, A319 registrations can be used on A319s only etc.
You CANNOT mix registrations across types. For example, A319 registrations applied to A320s will be
rejected, and A320 registrations applied to A320neos will be rejected, and vice versa.

For more details on what registrations apply to what aircraft types, see our fleet document.

Our aircraft policy

vEZY uses exclusively the A320 family. Our fleet types are: A319, A320, A320neo, and A321neo. You must
only fly these types, and with the correct engines. You must book and fly the same aircraft type, although
booking the same registration is not mandatory. We do however highly suggest this.

You must book and fly the same aircraft type.

A319 must be booked as type A319

A320 must be booked as type A320

A320neo must be booked as type A20N

A321neo must be booked as type A21N

Engines… engines turn or passengers swim

Our CEO fleet (A319 and A320) are powered by CFM56 engines and so you can only fly with these engines.
PIREPs using IAE powered aircraft will be rejected regardless of livery.
Our NEO fleet (A320neo and A321neo) are powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines and so these engines must
be used. PIREPs using Pratt and Whitney engines will be rejected.

For more details on our fleet, see our fleet document.

Our pirep policies

All vEZY flights are scored in the same way. PIREPs not following VA policy will be rejected or invalidated.

Non-compliance with livery policy

Ignoring our livery policy will result in either PIREP rejection or invalidation.
The use of easyJet liveries which do not follow policy will be rejected.

The use of non-easyJet liveries will be invalidated.

Non-compliance with aircraft policy

PIREPs with booked vs flown aircraft mismatch will be rejected.

PIREPs with aircraft flown by non-easyJet fleet types will be invalidated.

Maximum landing rate

We allow landing rates up to a maximum acceptable threshold of -600fpm. As a rule of thumb, PIREPs
over this limit will be rejected.
PIREPs over -500fpm require a comment explaining the reason behind a hard landing rate and will be
reviewed manually by the vEZY Operations Team.

Fuel
Please note that any fuel increases during flight will result in PIREP rejection.

On the day
When making a flight booking, ensure you book the type you intend to fly. If you made the booking
beforehand and have had an aircraft change, make sure you re-dispatch your booking with the new
aircraft type to ensure your PIREP gets accepted. We’re putting this here because the PIREP comment
of “I changed aircraft and forgot to change it on vAMSYS” is not an acceptable excuse!
Equally, in the simulator, make sure you are flying the correct aircraft that you have booked. It’s easy to
make mistakes but simple crosschecks against your booking will easily prevent errors like this from
happening.
While this is not mandatory, we strongly suggest you book the same aircraft registration as the one you
are flying in simulator as this will guarantee you will not break VA policy (only if using liveries linked from
our fleet document).
