SAFETY RECALL F05 – ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE
Dear DaimlerChrysler Canada Vehicle Owner:
PLEASE CALL YOUR SELLING DAIMLERCHRYSLER CANADA DEALER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO
ARRANGE FOR A SERVICE APPOINTMENT TO CORRECT A POTENTIAL SAFETY DEFECT ON YOUR
VEHICLE, AS SHOWN ON THE ENCLOSED RECALL SERVICE AUTHORIZATION CARD.
DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. has determined that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in some
2006 model year Dodge Ram and Dakota pickup trucks equipped with a Four-Wheel Antilock Brake System (ABS).
The problem is... The ABS control module on your truck may cause the rear brakes to lock up during certain
braking conditions. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and cause a crash without
warning.
What DaimlerChrysler DaimlerChrysler will repair your vehicle free of charge. To do this, your dealer will
and your dealer replace the ABS control module. The work will take about ½ hour to complete. You will not

how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.
