Puneet Khanna, MBBS, MD, is an Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Critical Care at the All

India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He did both his MD and Senior Residency from AIIMS, and after a brief

stint as Assistant Professor at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, he came

back to his alma mater. Dr. Khanna is extremely passionate about his work and has a keen interest in academics and research.

He has close to 150 publications in both national and international journals to his credit. His previous books Ultrasound in Critical

Care, Infectious Diseases in the Intensive Care Unit, and Long and Short Cases in Anesthesiology are huge successes and very

popular among students.

Shashikant Sharma, MBBS, MD, is a Senior Resident, Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Critical Care at the All
India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He completed his MD curriculum in anesthesiology from the Postgraduate

Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He has 1 year of teaching experience in anesthesiology, pain

medicine, and critical care at AIIMS, New Delhi. Currently, he is pursuing his super specialization in critical care medicine at

AIIMS, New Delhi, since July 2020.
