the following color-codes: 3 *2sc in next st, sc in next st* around – 18

meaning:
(purple), 404 (light brown), 281 (orange), 110
(black) in line 3 work 2 single crochets in the next
stitch, then work 1 sc in the following stitch;
everything between * * gets to be repeated
until the current round is completed;
amount of DK/Sport weight yarn
the completed round has 18 stitches;
(these are the amounts I needed – it
highly depends on your chosen type
of yarn, the size of your hook etc.) Example 2:
- 37 g / 47 g for hat, ears & buttons *2sc in next st* x6, sc in next 4 st – 16
- 1 g / 2 g for the nose
- 7 g / 9 g in white for snout & tail
meaning:
- 15 g / 19 g for suspenders & pants
- 23 g / 29 g for arms, feet & body work 2 single crochets in the next stitch,
- 21 g / 29 g in contrast-color for the body’s repeat doing that until you've done it 6 times;
inner part then work 1 single crochet in each of the next
- some black for the snout-line 4 stitches;

EASTER BUNNY GNOME – The Pattern

Info: Make all the small body-parts first (ears, nose, snout, suspenders,
arms, buttons, tail & feet). You need them while crocheting the hat and the
body.

EAR (make 2, use yarn in HAT-COLOR)

o 1 magic ring of 6 sc – 6
o 2 *sc in next st* around – 6
o 3 *2sc in next st, sc in next 2 st* around – 8
o 4 *sc in next st* around – 8
o 5 *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 st* around – 10
o 6 *2sc in next st, sc in next 4 st* around – 12
o 7 *2sc in next st, sc in next 5 st* around – 14
o 8 *2sc in next st, sc in next 6 st* around – 16
o 9 *sc in next st* around – 16
o 10 *sc in next st* around – 16
o 11 *sc in next st* around – 16 Crochet the opening
closed with 7 single
o 12 flatten the opening so that the stitch you made last sits on the crochets.

NOSE (make 1, use yarn in PINK or LIGHT-PINK)

o 1 magic ring of 6 sc – 6
o 2 *2sc in next st, sc in next 2 st* x2 – 8
o 3 sc in next 4 st,

flatten the opening so that the stitch you made last sits on the
side; both side-stitches remain unworked;

crochet the opening closed with:

sc in next 3 stitch-pairs

fasten off & weave in yarn-end

SNOUT (make 1, use yarn in WHITE)

Info: Have the nose ready, it’s needed here already. The snout begins with
a chain you need to crochet around. See page 21 for more details on that.

3sc in next st (with this you automatically land on the chain’s
other side; continue crocheting there;),

o 4 sc in next 29 st, leave the last stitch unworked – 30
