    Work Description- I am working as a Site Engineer in Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramula Rail


    Link Project which is built by VCCL under the supervision of Konkan Railway Corporation
    Limited and Northern Railway. My work is to execute the work given in program. Twin tunnels
    are being excavatedted in which one is Main tunnel and other is Escape tunnel. Main tunnel is for
    Rail Line and Escape Tunnel is for emergency situations and maintenance work. Working is in
    two shift of twelve hours and I am in charge for night shift.

    ACHIEVEMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    1. Breakthrough of ET-13P1 and MT-13P1.
    2. Tackle 2 Cavities of main tunnel.
    3. Open many Cross Passages between Main and Escape Tunnel.
    4. Made portal of T-13P1 and T-14P1.
    5. Open many of Layby and Trolley refuges.
    6. Done Overt lining of excavated portion with SFRC.
    7. Made Invert throughout Tunnel for better transportation.
    8. Manage workers and labor.
    9. Resolve various issues with locals.
    10.Coordinate with Client (KRCL).
    11.Arrangement of all materials which requires in any site.
    12.Check material quality on site.
    13.Make proper drainage way for incoming water fromexcavation.
