(1) If the pressure is less than 2000 psi (138 bar):
(a) Stop to tow the aircraft.
(b) On panel 902VU, push the HYD AUX PUMP pushbutton to pressurize the blue
hydraulic system.

(1) Make sure that the pressure of EMER BRK ACCU is more than or equal to 2000 psi (138
bar).
4. Procedure

A. Towing with Nose wheel in Day

(1) Make sure that the landing-gear ground locking-pins are installed.
NOTE: Locking pins installation is optional when you tow the aircraft for flight
operations (example: positioning aircraft for the flight crew at arrival or
departure).
(2) Make sure that the static ground cables are removed.
CAUTION: MAKE CERTAIN THAT TOW BAR IS IN HORIZONTAL POSITION AND THAT
TOWING POINT ON TOWING VEHICLE IS NOT HIGHER THAN 16 INCHES.
(3) Connect the TOW BAR (98S09008019000) to the nose landing gear at point (B).
NOTE: Use only the tow bar approved for this aircraft.
5. Close-Up

A. Close Up
(1) Put back the N/W steering switch in its initial position.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical AC and DC circuits: Ref. MP ATR-A-24-46-XX-00ZZZ-
561Z-A.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
