Installation operations
MorphoBioToolbox is installed on your local hard drive by executing the setup file. The following
components must also be installed on your computer prior to MorphoBioToolbox installation:
MorphoBioToolbox is now compatible only with 64 bit platforms.
▪ Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 64 bit Redistributable Package (upgrade since 4.8.0)
▪ Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (upgrade since 4.5)

This version is compatible with:
▪ VisionPass with firmware 2.2.3 and above.

▪ VisionPass SP with firmware 2.0.0 and above.

Important notice
▪ Add support for progress information during firmware upgrade on MorphoWave SP.
▪ Support for MA2G terminals will be removed in version 5.0.
New feature
▪ Add support for third and fourth TLS profiles (see firmware release notes for availability and
usage).
Improvements
▪ MBTB enables TLS 1.2 and 1.3 only on all TLS sessions to ensure secure communication.
▪ Secure communication between MBTB and MA2G terminal is no longer possible.
▪ Please note terminals are not ready for TLS 1.3 yet.
▪ Clarify DESFire keys loading interface.
▪ Documentation of hard reset feature.
Known issues
▪ SIGMA range in Morpho Legacy mode: It is not possible to configure terminal to connect to
Wi-Fi Access Point using no encryption.
▪ SIGMA range in Morpho Legacy mode: when reading Wi-Fi configuration in MorphoAccess® J
and 500 Series Legacy mode, an error is displayed if Wi-Fi Access Point is not configured.
▪ When creating Wiegand custom format, it is necessary to click on Read button to update the
lists displayed.
▪ The Configuration USB Script tab has some stability issues.
