Vigan is a city in Ilocos, Philippines. It has many
popular attractions, including Vigan City, Calle
Crisologo, Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo, making it
well worth a visit. one of the top cities and tourist
spots in the Philippines where you can learn about
the country’s rich culture and heritage in a very
immersive way. In fact, the Historic City of Vigan
was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999
and became one of the New7Wonders Cities in
2015.

Before breaking ground, it’s important to have a


vision set. What do i want in an outdoor space to
look like?
Through visualizations One of my observations
around the road and also the situation during the
day, most of tourist wait outside the museum, so
one of my ideas is to design a small shed to rest
and also to be able to avoid from the sun’s harsh
temperature. SILONG
Step 1: Finding inspiration
Silong project helps not only for tourist but also The
people of Vigan. the design includes the aligns
cultural context of the area, which is the architecture
of vigan, Spanish Colonial with Chinese
embellishments and intricate architectural details.
