Sorsogon City and now I am a Freelance Event Host/Emcee and I will be
your host for tonight!
HOST: An 18th birthday marks almost the steps from youth to young
adult, with all its relative responsibilities. Join us as we celebrate this
wonderful girl’s coming of age. Let’s all celebrate as our girl becomes a
full – bloomed lady tonight, as our girl turns 18. All of you who are here
tonight have watched the debutante grow over the years into a
wonderful person she is now. You see her grow up, you see her smile,
you see her laugh, you see her everything, and now we are about to see
her as a grown up lady. A lady of good heart, character, and ambition.
HOST: Again, welcome to the party of our charming debutante who is
now turning into a fine lady. This is a quite very important event in her
life and she is very much honor for your presence. No more fairy tale
stories every night because she is now a real lady as she stepped onto the
much higher level of what we called “life”. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back
as we groove, jive, and enjoy her party tonight!
ENTRANCE OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS
HOST: At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present to
you the ever supportive and loving family of our debutante without them
her life would be empty and unhappy. Sabe nga, marami tayong
mahahanap na kapuso, pero iisa lang ang ating kapamilya. Let us all give
a big round of applause to honor all the people whom she truly loved.
Let’s begin with the debutante’s brother’s Mr. Aaron James Hababag and
Mr. Gerald Hababag and ofcourse the debutante’s younger sister Ms. Kc
Hababag and finally the very proud parents Mr Allan Hababag and Mrs.
Ma. Novy Hababag.
HOST: (Adlib after the entrance of the family members).
GRAND ENTRANCE OF THE DEBUTANTE
HOST: In a land not so far away, there was once a little girl with a beauty
of a princess. Born on the 4th of February, this girl is the ___________________

among the children of Mr. Allan Hababag and Mrs. Ma. Novy Hababag.
This girl grew up with so much love and kindness. She is loved by
everybody for her beauty inside and out. Her voice is an angel. Her smile
bears no limit. Her heart is unafraid. Her mind is ready to try. She’s ready
for any adventure for the sake of fun and friendship. More refined than
shy, more adventurous than playful, more charismatic than charming,
more alluring than beautiful. Indeed, she has all grown up and what a
sight she has become. Ladies and gentlemen, I have the honor to
introduce to you the debutante. Let us all stand as we welcome the
debutante as a woman of grandeur now hot and legal. Escorted with her
boyfriend Mr. John Paul Hebres. Let’s give a big round of applause for our
dazzling lady of the night for Ms. Bea Hamor Hababag! Around of
applause please!
INVOCATION
HOST: To spiritually start the program, may I ask everybody to please
stand and let’s all take some time to thank the Lord and ask for his grace
for this event to be led by ________________________________.
WELCOME MESSAGE
HOST: Before we proceed to the main part of this occasion. Let’s first
give this moment to the people who made all these a success from the
planning to the execution, for the good food, and to the every details of
the party. Without these people, this event wouldn’t be possible. May I
call in the proud mother of our debutante Mrs. Ma. Novy Hababag to
welcome us all tonight and as well to extend their gratitude for coming.
Let us all give a big round of applause to Mrs. Ma. Novy Hababag.

forward for tonight’s celebration?

and love her unconditionally.
HOST: Willa Cather once said: “Where there is great love, there are

heart of our celebrant, and whom she listens and confides to for inspiring

symbolizes degrees of love and affection but they can also send a variety

SINGING OF BIRTHDAY SONG, BLOWING OF THE CANDLE &
CUTTING THE CAKE TO BE OFFERED TO HER PARENTS
HOST: Let me share another good – to – know trivia to everyone on how
birthday cakes and candles came about as a tradition during birthdays.
Some believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient
Greece. Putting candles on a cake was a special way to tribute to the
Greek moon goddess, Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the
moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected moonlight. Today’s
tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday candles may
have started with that belief. Enough of all those did – you – know trivia
because at this part of the program, our lovely and stunning debutante
will blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to complete that
customary practice, let us sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody
is familiar with, the happy birthday song. Music maestro!
HOST: (Leads the singing of happy birthday song). Let’s give 18 claps for
Cristy Mae. Thank you very much. You can now blow your candles and
make a wish. It is now time to cut the cake. As she has reached the
maturity, she will now cut the cake and give a portion to her parents as a
symbol of her love and gratefulness to them.
HOST: There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the circle of important
persons in the life of our debutant. Let’s give them a big round of
applause. And of course let’s have a group photo with the debutant.
THE DEBUTANTE’S SPEECH
HOST: Tonight’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of
gratitude in response to a wonderful experience like this can be
contained in an overwhelming thank you. Maraming salamat po for
making me a part of this memorable occasion. And if there’s one person
here tonight who is more than grateful to see all of you that would be our
beloved celebrant, Bea. Tonight’s celebration will not be complete
without hearing any message from the debutante herself. Let us give this
time for our debutante to express her gratitude for all of us here. I’m
11
giving the floor now to our debutante, Ms. Bea Hamor Hababag. Let’s give
her a big round of applause!
CLOSING REMARKS
HOST: It is my pleasure to be part of this significant celebration of the
debutante’s life. Tonight is not the end but the beginning of a longer road
to walk. To our dear debutante, we wish you nothing but the best that
life can offer. And with that our program has officially concluded. On
behalf of our debutante’s family, I would like to thank you for all making
it to this wonderful celebration of Bea Hababag’s 18th birthday. For those
who are going home, may God bless you, be safe everyone, and for those
who are staying, the night is still young and the floor is now open for
dancing. Again, maraming maraming salamat po for having me here to
celebrate with all of you. This has been your host, Jaymar Hadap, now
signing off at nag iiwan nang isang katagang “hindi man kagandahan,
hindi man kakinisan pero pinipilahan”. Enjoy the rest of the night
everyone! Thank you and goodnight!
