R
(c) DRY TIMES (ASTM D 1640) – See attachment

(d) EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDE PREFERRED, SUITABLE, NOT SUITABLE REQUIREMENTS) - Airless spray is the best means of application for this coating. A special
small sprayer can be used. Contact Mascoat Products for this unit: SA GUN KIT. The small sprayer is intended for jobs under 10 ft². An airless pump with a ratio of at least 33:1 and a pump
volume of 1.0 gpm or greater is required.

IF PLURAL COMPONENT EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED, STATE SO - NA

A

IF HEATED LINES ARE REQUIRED, STATE SO - NA

(e) SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS - Dry time between coats is dependent on temperature and humidity. The chart below is a good guideline. However, the thumb placement technique provides
the best indication of the coating’s condition. To check for dry condition, place thumb onto coating and exert slight pressure. Turn thumb 90° while applying pressure. Remove thumb; if
E

coating has an obvious depression, adheres to thumb or tears on the coated surface, the coating is not dry. Practice this until no depression or coating is present on thumb.

PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR REPAIR PROCEDURES IF THE OVERCOAT WINDOW HAS BEEN EXCEEDED: Remove any damaged areas and make repairs to substrate. Clean
any excess dirt, oil, damaged coatings, and any foreign matter. Prime area if needed (see application instructions) and touch up small areas with a paint brush or sprayer, folling Mascoat
application instrutions. Build coating thickness in 20 mil coats until proper thickness is achieved. If overcoating over existing coating, there is no time limit to overcoat. Make sure coating
VS

is clean and free of any dirt, oil, water, or foreign matter, then follow Mascoat application instructions for Delta T Marine.
