In order to relax the back muscles and improve comfort, researchers have invented an
automated back massager in this article. Manual physical massage techniques have been
employed since the beginning of time. This method provides momentary pain alleviation.
An excellent substitute for manual massage treatments is an automated back massage chair.
The majority of office workers and daily hard workers have severe back pain issues. This
back massager will lessen some of the limitations of the manual therapy outlined above. The
entire region of the back muscles encircling the spine is targeted by this device. Compared
to handheld or vibrating massager equipment, this is thought to be more effective. The
proposed system includes a portable feature that enables use by all age groups even in the
absence of a designated chair or location. To better target a particular back muscle for pain
alleviation, the handheld motion controller will allow the user complete control over the
back rollers' linear movement. The cushioned height adjustment offers the user greater
comfort and relaxation when sitting. For people between the ages of 30 and 60, it is useful.
SEMI AUTOMATIC FULL BACK MASSAGER
INTRODUCTION
In today's fast-paced world, where stress and tension have become an integral part of
our daily lives, self-care and relaxation have never been more crucial. The "Semi-Automatic
Full Back Massager" project represents a remarkable fusion of technology and well-being,
aimed at providing individuals with a convenient and effective solution to alleviate back
pain and enhance their overall comfort. This innovative device combines the best of both
worlds, offering the convenience of automation while still allowing users to tailor their
massage experience to their specific needs. In this project, we delve into the design,
development, and functionality of this semi-automatic full back massager, demonstrating
how it can make a significant difference in promoting relaxation and well-being for users of
all ages and ensure a quality environment for building occupants.
LITERATURE SURVEY
In order to relax the back muscles and improve comfort, Manual physical massage
techniques have been employed since the beginning of time. This method provides
momentary pain alleviation. An excellent substitute for manual massage treatments is an
automated back massage chair.[1]
The safety and effectiveness of multifunctional chair systems with heating, stretching,
and relaxation functions have not been assessed. Furthermore, while such mechanical
massage may reduce medical costs and increase accessibility of treatment, its cost-
effectiveness has not yet been assessed. The purpose of the present study was to compare
clinical outcomes such as pain control, satisfaction, and quality of life modification, as well
as the cost-effectiveness of massage chair therapy with those of in-hospital physiotherapy.

A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted using Samueli Institute’s
systematic review process known as the Rapid Evidence Assessment of Literature
(REALVC), which has been used by a variety of organizations to date. Specifically, (a) the
Evidence for Massage Therapy (EMT) Working Group, composed of a diverse group of
stakeholders including a full steering committee and subject matter experts, contributed to
defining the review’s protocol to maximize the meaning and impact; (b) the systematic
review team followed the protocol to independently evaluate the quantity and quality of the
available English, peer-reviewed literature in order to (c) present the results to the EMT

Working Group who then interpreted the evidence to suggest recommendations for the field.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the "Semi-Automatic Full Back Massager" project is to design and
develop an innovative and user-friendly device that can provide effective and customizable
back massages to users, combining the benefits of automation with user control to promote
relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
"Design and develop a semi-automatic full back massager that provides a convenient
and effective solution for alleviating back pain and tension in users, integrating ergonomic
design, customizable massage settings, and user-friendly controls to enhance comfort and
relaxation.
The project aims to create a semi-automatic back massager that can be controlled remotely
through a mobile application or a web interface. It will feature multiple massage modes,
intensity control, and can target different areas of the user's back.
WORKING
• Integrated hardware components (vibration motor, motor drivers, sensors) with ESP32.
• Connect the motor control circuitry to the ESP32 GPIO pins.
• Established robust connections between the vibration motor and motor drivers, ensuring
compatibility and efficient power transmission.
• Wired the temperature sensor, heart rate sensor, and accelerometer sensor to the ESP32,
creating a reliable data acquisition network.
• Continuously collecting data: temperature, heart rate, and movement.
• Utilizing sensor data to ensure precise control of motor speed as per the user's
preferences.
• Implementing Blynk or ThingSpeak software for user motor speed control.
• Prioritizing safety with emergency stop, timeout, and over-temperature protection.
• Write the firmware for the ESP32 using Arduino IDE or a similar platform.
• Implement code to control the motors based on user inputs, which can include:
1.Turning the motors on/off
2.Adjusting the intensity of the massage
3.Changing massage modes (e.g., pulsating, rolling, kneading)
4.Selecting the target area of the back (upper, lower, full back)
5.Handling commands received through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth communication.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
1. Embedded C language
2. Blynk software

EXPECTED OUTCOME
The expected output/result of this project is a semi-automatic full back massager that can
be controlled using an ESP32. Users should be able to adjust the massage intensity, duration,
and mode either through physical buttons or a mobile app. The massager should provide a
soothing and customizable massage experience, potentially even adapting to the user's
specific back condition if sensors are included.
CONCLUSION
FUTURE WORK
In the future, our Automatic Back Massager project has scope for enhancements like refining
the user interface and exploring remote control options. However, these improvements align
with our primary project goals, and we do not anticipate significant further advancements
beyond our current scope. Our main focus remains on delivering a safe, customizable, and user-
friendly back massager using the available technologies.

ABSTRACT
This project aims to integrate multiple bank accounts into one single ATM card. Many
bank
charges ATM usage fees from the customers for different transactions. At present day,
every
customer has an individual ATM card for each and every bank in which he/she maintains
account. So, while handling the cards, many passwords are involved. In order to overcome
these difficulties, we embedded more than one bank account of the user in a single ATM
smart
card, therefore letting the user to swipe the card so that the respective individual can select
the bank from which he/she is interested to carry out transaction. User module is the
interactive module through which the user can log into the system and perform the
transactions of the user’s choice. Hereby, the users can access multiple accounts by
entering
a single Pin.
