7. Contextualization
8. Project-Base Learning
9. Collaborative Learning
10.Professional Development
11.Flexibility in Teaching Methods

Then, the speaker presented key concept in each strategies

which are:

Differentiated instruction is recognizing and

accomodating diverse learning style and abilities withing the
class. Also it is tailoring teaching method to suit individual
needs, providing both challenge and support as necessary.

Active Learning is engaging students in the learing

process through hands-on activities, group discussion, and
interative projects. As well as encouraging critical thinking,
problem-solving, and collaorative learning.

Use of Technology (ICT Integration) is incorporating

technology tools such as interactive whiteboards,
educational apps, and online resources to make lessons
more engaging. Together with the use of multimedia
elements like videos, simulations, and virtual field trips to
enhance understanding.

Flipped Class Approach is providing students with

learning materials before class, allowing them to review
content at their own pace. Tailored with the use of class
time for discussions, problem-solving, and application of
concepts rather than traditional lectures.

Remedial Instruction is identifying students who

need additional support through formative assessments and
observations. Then offer one-on-one or small group remedial
sessions to address specific learning gaps.

Formative Assessment is the use of ongoing

assessments to gauge student understanding and adjust
instruction accordingly. This provide timely and
constructive feedback to guide students in their learning
process.

Contextualization is relating learning materials to

real-world situations and examples that are relevant to
students' lives. Also it is connecting lessons to current
events or local issues to make the content more meaningful.

Project-Base Learning is structuring lessons around

projects that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and

collaboration. Thus PBL encourages students to apply
knowledge in a practical context.

Collaborative Learning is fostering a collaborative

learning environment where students work together on
projects and share ideas. And encourages peer teaching and
mentoring.

Professional Development is beig updated on the

latest teaching methodologies and technologies through
professional development opportunities. With this
participating in workshops and conferences to enhance
teaching skills.

Flexibility in Teaching Methods is being flexible and

willing to adapt the teaching methods based on the needs
and dynamics of the students. That leads to continuously
reflecting on teaching practices and make adjustments as
needed.

Lastly, the Facilitator summarized the topic that these

strategies are mere guide in being efficient and effective in
teaching, thus it is still in the disgretion of the teachers to apply
and see if these strategies are applicable and effective in their
own classroom.

Application: The LAC Facilitator urged her colleagues to reflect on the

effective and efficient strategies that they are doing in class and
that they may share one or two effective and efficient strategies.

Big Group The LAC Facilitator asked the big group/plenary to share
Plenary their reflections:
sharing
 What are the effective and efficient teaching strategies
that you are doing in your class?

 How important for a teacher to have an effective and

efficient strategy that is being religiously observed?

 What are the ineffective and inefficient strategy that you

once did in class and what is the effect of it?

Mrs. Ramielyn Bangao shared two of her effective teaching

strategies which are: the implementation of Formative
Assessment which is for her it provides a real-time feedback on
students understanding. With this also the giving of regular
quizes, polls, or short assignments, allows teachers to adjust
their instructions and support individual needs. The second
effective teaching strategies that she likes best is the active
learning technique for it encouage students engagement and
participation also it promotes critical thinking and application of

knowledge

Mrs. Dionisia Kiat shared the importance or the positive

effect of having an effective teaching strategy, wherein she stated
that An effective teaching strategy fosters a positive learning
environment, enhances student engagement, and promotes better
understanding of the subject matter. Students are more likely to
stay motivated, participate actively, and develop a deeper grasp of
the material, leading to improved academic performance and a
positive overall learning experience. Additionally, effective
teaching strategies contribute to the development of critical
thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a lifelong love for
learning.

Mr. Federico P. Cayabas shared some teaching strategies

that has positive effects, these includes:
a. Optimized Use of Time: Efficient strategies help
maximize instructional time, allowing educators to cover
more material effectively and address students' learning
needs without unnecessary delays;
b. Increased Student Productivity: Students benefit
from streamlined and well-organized lessons, leading to
increased productivity. Clear objectives and efficient
delivery contribute to a focused and purposeful learning
environment;
c. Enhanced Classroom Management:Efficient
strategies contribute to a smoothly run classroom,
reducing disruptions and creating a conducive
atmosphere for learning. This positively impacts students'
ability to stay on task and engage with the content;
d. Better Resource Utilization:An efficient strategy
involves using resources effectively, such as incorporating
technology, instructional materials, and collaborative
activities. This optimizes the learning experience and
ensures that resources contribute meaningfully to
educational goals;
e. Improved Teacher Satisfaction:Teachers experience
greater job satisfaction when their efforts lead to tangible
and positive outcomes. Efficient strategies can reduce
stress, allowing educators to focus more on facilitating
learning and building meaningful connections with
students.

Mr. Fausto Pakipak shared also one strategy that is

ineffective and inefficient these includes the lack of clear
objectives where without clear learning objectives, students may
struggle to understand the purpose of the lesson, leading to
disengagement and a lack of direction. With this he had waste
valuable time on activities that do not align with learning goals,
impacting the overall effectiveness of the instruction.

Mrs. Rosallyn Pagaspas shared also one strategy that is

ineffective and inefficient that once she practived that is the
overreliance on Lecture where in extended periods of lecturing

without interactive elements can result in student boredom and
reduced engagement. Also she discovered that students may not
retain information as effectively, and teachers might miss
opportunities to assess understanding or address individual student
needs.

Mrs. Baby Oyam also shared the importance for a teacher to

have an effective and efficient strategy that is being religiously
observed, and this is Maximizing student learning where in
effective strategy ensures that instructional time is used
optimally, maximizing opportunities for student engagement and
comprehension. Efficiency further enables coverage of essential
content without unnecessary delays.

Mrs. Daisy Dusalen also stated that having an efficient and

effective strategy is important for a well-executed strategy
enhances student engagement by incorporating interactive and
varied learning experiences. This, coupled with efficiency, helps
maintain student interest and motivation throughout the learning
process.

Synthesis with regards to Efficient And Effective Teaching Strategies is
significant to the teachers for they have learned some new
strategies from each other and also the highly profecient teachers
have shared their knowledge and experience that the profecient
teachers have gained knowledge.

Hence, the facilitator suggested with these learning that

each teacher may manage there classes with effective and
efficient strategy.
