electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on
temporary basis for its Military Communication SBU, Bangalore Complex as mentioned
below:

NOTE: Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased based on the actual

requirement at the discretion of the Management. 4% of the posts will be reserved for
Persons with Disability (PwBD). Concession/relaxation for reserved categories will be as per
Government guidelines.

Upper Age Limit : Upper age limit is 32 years as on 01.12.2023.

Relaxations: The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and for
OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum
40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to
the categories mentioned above.
Terms of Engagement & Remuneration:

Project Engineer - I will be engaged initially for a period of Three years which may be
extended up to a maximum of One year (including initial period) based on requirement and
individual performance.

However, if any candidate has completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer
in BEL and has applied for Project Engineer post he/she will be directly inducted as
Project Engineer - II. The remuneration of such candidates will be Rs. 45,000/- for the
1st Year, Rs. 50000/- for the 2nd Year and Rs. 55000/- for the 3rd Year. The overall tenure
will be limited to 3 years only.

Qualification: Full time BE / B. Tech course from AICTE/UGC approved reputed
Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines – Electronics / Electronics &
Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication & Communication
Engineering.

Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE / B. Tech:

 General/OBC (NCL)/EWS: 55% & above
 SC/ST/ PwBD (person with bench mark disabilities) : Pass class

Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be indicated in the application form.

Post Qualification Experience as on 01.12.2023: Candidates should have minimum

Two Years relevant post qualification industry experience:

The relevant post qualification industry experience shall be in the following areas:
 Study of Technical Requirements for the Implementation of various Equipment of the
project.
 Involving installation of IT hardware’s along with vendors.
 Functionality checking of IT hardware and electronic equipment.
 Installation of software’s from BSTC Bangalore and CRL GAD.
 Preparation of JRI & ATP Documents for Deliverables.
 Interacting with Vendors & Coordinating at station for receipt of deliverables.
 Storing of received project materials in station.
 Coordinating with station for conducting JRI for the received materials.
 Supporting & Monitoring of Civil works in the station.

During installation & Commissioning activities, the fundamental responsibilities of these

Engineers are as follows.
 Scheduling & Coordinating of I &C activities
 Monitoring of Installation & Commissioning of Items as per the contract.
 Monitoring of system integration of various equipment’s
 Integration & POC of each item
 Overall integration of systems
 Hands of training of systems of Navy Personnel’s
 Handing over of site after the project completion

Please Note:
1. Candidates possessing Industrial experience only need to apply.
2. Academy/Teaching/Research work experience will not be considered as relevant
industrial experience.
3. Candidate should posses Experience certificates/Documents issued by the previous
and present employer clearly indicating period of employment and post held.
4. The decision of the Selection Committee with respect to industrial experience will be
final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents will not be considered
and is liable to be rejected/cancelled without any prior intimation.

Selection Procedure:
1. Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates, followed
by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test.
The venue for the Written Test/ Interview will be intimated later.
2. 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% for the interview.

 Candidates who pass in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio
of 1:5 in the order of merit.
3. The names of candidates shortlisted for Written Test / Interview and final
selections will be notified on our Company’s website.
4. Please note that Written Test/ Interview call letters will be sent through email
only.

2. Candidates are required to enter all information correctly in the application form as

Documents to be submitted at the time of submitting the application:

2. B.E/ B.Tech. Degree certificate (as applicable). In case of CGPA or credits system of
assessments, the candidates are required to indicate the formula for conversion of
CGPA/ Credits to percentage in accordance with the respective University norms.
3. Final consolidated marks sheet.
4. Caste/community/ Disability/Income certificate in case of candidates belonging to
SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/ PwBD /EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under
any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed
format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement.
Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category should possess the certificate issued
on or after 01.12.2022. Candidates belonging to EWS category are required to
produce the Income & Asset certificate either for the year 2022-23 or the present
financial year. (Prescribed formats are attached long with this advertisement).
5. Post qualification experience certificate/s from previous / current employer.
Where current employment certificate is not produced the offer of current
employment, latest pay slip and employee ID proof should be compulsorily
attached.
6. Candidates if working in PSUs/ Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit ‘No
Objection Certificate’ at the time of application or Written Test.

5. Candidates are required to select SBI branch in the payment option & download &
print the challan generated through SBI collect and deposit the application fee plus
applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidates should ensure to obtain
the seal and signature of the bank official. Payment receipt/screen shot should be
mandatorily attached along with other enclosures.

6. Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment,
in the Application Form. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

General Instructions:

1. Selected candidates are required to be covered under the following schemes at the
time of joining - Medical insurance scheme for a sum of Rs. 2 Lakhs & Life Cover
scheme for a sum of Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum.

2. The Trainee Engineers who are currently working in BEL prior intimation shall
be given to the respective HR Department of the Unit/SBU/CSG where the
engineer is working. Copy of the same to be attached.

3. Lateral application for the same post is not permitted i.e., Project Engineers who are
presently working in one of the Unit of BEL is not eligible to apply for Project
Engineer elsewhere in BEL. If applied, the application will be summarily rejected
without assigning any reasons.

4. Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id, which is to be
entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the written test / interview
will be sent by e-mail to the email Id furnished by the candidate. BEL will not be

 responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate. There will be no
separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.

5. Only Indian nationals need apply. The posts indicated above may vary based on the
actual requirement at the time of selection. Canvassing in any form will result in
disqualification. BEL reserves the right to debar / disqualify any candidate at any
stage of the selection process for any reason what so ever.

Merely fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest
any right on the candidates to be called for the Interview/Written Test. BEL reserves
