    Dear Sir/Ma’am,

    SUBJECT: BASIC POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICERS’ TRAINING

    (DENR EMB – Required Seminar for Accreditation)

    The Global Environment Protection Services Co. will be conducting the “Basic Pollution
    Control Officers’ Training” WEBINAR on February 19-23, 2024 at 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

    The 40-hour training is in line with the requirement for PCO accreditation as stipulated in the
    DENR Administrative Order (DAO) 2014-02 (Revised PCO Accreditation Guidelines)

    · Section 6: Qualifications Requirements for PCOs, has completed the Basic


    PCO Training Course by an EMB-recognized training organization/institutions;
    · Section11: Renewal of PCO Accreditation, the PCO Accreditation shall be
    renewed every three (3) years, provided that he/she has completed at least forty
    (40) hours of cumulative relevant PCO training as a participant.

    Attendance to this training will be used to comply with the mandatory requirement of
    training/seminar in the application for accreditation as Pollution Control Officer with the EMB
    and in line with the provisions of DAO No. 02 series of 2014 specifically Section 3 which state
    that “Industrial, commercial and manufacturing establishments and private entities, whose
    activities are potential and actual source of water, air, and land pollution, shall each appoint
    and/or designate a Pollution Control Officer. Likewise, all provincial, municipal, and city
    government shall each appoint or designate the same”
