3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Not classified as dangerous for supply. Avoid inhalation of dust during mixing.
Potential Health Effects
Eye Contact may cause irritation.
Skin Prolonged contact may dry the skin resulting in irritation and dermatitis.
Inhalation Avoid inhalation if product atomised during application, may cause respiratory
tract irritation.
Ingestion Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


General In all cases of doubt or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Eye Contact Flush eye with water for 15 minutes, holding eye lids apart. Get medical attention if
irritation develops.
Skin Contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water or a proprietary
skin cleaner.
Inhalation If exposed to excess levels of dust remove to fresh air.
Ingestion If accidentally swallowed, obtain immediate medical attention. Show this safety
data sheet. Do not induce vomiting. If conscious give milk or water to drink.

Extinguishing Media Recommended: alcohol resistant foam, CO2, powder, water spray mist.
Fire and Explosion Hazards During a fire, acrylic monomers may be generated at elevated temperatures.

If engulfed by ongoing fire do not allow fire fighting run off to enter drains or
watercourses.
As in any fire wear self-contained breathing apparatus, pressure demand
MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES


Safeguards (Personnel) Exclude all non-essential personnel. Wear appropriate personal
protective equipment.
Initial Containment Absorb spills with inert material, allow to solidify and scrape up.
Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses, clean preferably with a
detergent. Do not use solvents.

If the product accidentally enters, rivers, lakes, drains or sewers, the


Local Authority should be contacted immediately.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE


General Smoking, Eating and Drinking should be prohibited in areas of storage or use.
Never use pressure to empty the container.
Good housekeeping and regular safe removal of waste materials are
recommended.

Shelf Life 12 months in original sealed containers.
Storage Precautions Avoid extremes of temperature.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store separately from Oxidising Agents, and strongly acidic or alkaline

Respiratory Protection Should not be necessary under normal conditions of use. However suitable
respiratory protective equipment should be worn during spray application.
Skin Protection For brief contact normal work attire should be sufficient. For anticipated prolonged
contact, barrier creams should be applied before work is commenced. Suitable
gloves should be worn.
Eye Protection Splashes in eyes may cause irritation; it is recommended that goggles designed to
protect against liquid splashes should be worn.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY


Stability Stable.
Polymerisation Product will not undergo polymerisation.
Incompatibility With Other Material Incompatible with oxidising agents and strongly acidic and alkaline
materials.
Decomposition May produce acrylic monomers and oxides of carbon on decomposition.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION


There is no data available on the products themselves.

Repeated or prolonged contact may lead to removal of natural fats from the skin, resulting in non-allergic dermatitis
and absorption through the skin.
The products contain small amounts of biocides, not present in quantities sufficient to induce sensitisation by skin
contact, but which could elicit an allergic reaction in an already sensitised person.
Splashes in eyes may cause irritation and reversible local damage.
Ingestion may result in sore throat, abdominal pain or nausea.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION


There is no data available on the products themselves. They should not be allowed to enter drains or watercourses.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS


Do not allow to enter drains and watercourses or anywhere that may affect ground or surface waters. Wastes including
emptied containers should be disposed of in accordance with the regulations of the Local Authority.
