(Beginning Batch 2018)
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY
1
As part of the Intentional Career Development Program (ICDP), all students beginning
batch 2018 who wish to undergo on-the-job-training or OJT shall be required to complete
the modules under “Getting A Job” course training in the Accenture’s Skills to Succeed
Academy (AS2S) virtual platform at least two terms prior to enrollment.

The required minimum modules are as follows:

To ensure that OJT students meet the industry-standard English proficiency skills, all
students who wish to enroll in the OJT course shall secure TOEIC Certification from
Mapua Center for Continuing Education and Special Competencies (CCESC) or any
accredited TOEIC Testing Center at least two terms prior to enrollment. Mapua CCESC
shall offer a discounted price exclusive for Mapua students.

The Test of English in International Communication (TOEIC) is composed of four (4) skills
tests namely:

Listening & Reading (L&R)

Speaking & Writing (S&W)

Students must attain the required B2 Level to ensure that student's communication skills
is at par with industry requirements.
4.1
The student must reach the industry requirement of B2, having at least a score of 785 out
of the total score of 990 for L&R and 320 out of 400 for S&W.

4.2
Should the student attain the B2 rating, the TOEIC Certification shall be given to him/her
by Mapua Center for Continuing Education and Special Competencies (CCESC) or any
accredited TOEIC Testing Center.
4.3
Should the student fail to meet the required score equivalent of B2, the student shall be
required to undergo the Lexile intervention program accessible through
https://moodle.hopkins.ph to help and assist the test taker to engage in learning by
ensuring comprehension o reading materials and monitor progress over time. Table
below shows the recommended reading materials and worksheets depending on his/her
TOEIC exam results.

4.4
Should the student who attain the B2 rating still wishes to improve his/her L&R and
S&W skills, he could also access the link https://moodle.hopkins.ph and undergo the
Lexile intervention program.
4.5
The student shall complete the recommended reading materials and worksheets
depending on his/her performance in the L&R and S&W TOEIC Examination as
indicated in the table below.
4.6
The link shall be available and accessible to the test taker any time after the results of
his/her exam have been released with no expiration date.

4.7
Upon completion of the Lexile intervention program, students shall be advised by Mapua
CCESC to claim his/her TOEIC Certificate from Mapua CCESC office.

All students who wish to undergo OJT shall be enrolled in the course for OJT. Students
shall not be allowed to render training hours prior to enrollment and submission of
required documents to ICEP.
