The same person shall not carry out and inspect work, in relation to a maintenance task involving some element of
disassembly/reassembly of several aircraft components of the same type, fitted to more than one system on the
same aircraft during a particular maintenance check.
S/N TASK DESCRIPTION TECH. AME

1. WALKAROUND INSPECTION:
A. EXTERNAL FUSELAGE:

Note: Do the walk around inspection of external fuselage as per FIGURE 1


attached with this sheet. Check for obvious damages, missing parts and general
condition.
Note: Where applicable, while inspecting the above items makes sure that
there is no signs of damage, corrosion, leaks or cracks on all the parts of the
components and the structure.
1. Check exterior of fuselage including radome positively latched, avionics
equipment vent air inlet valve, Ram air Inlet flap, pack air intake / outlet, ram
air turbine doors, flight control surfaces and empennage / APU area exhaust,
drain mast and vents (air intake flap) as far as visible from ground – for
condition, cleanliness and fluid leaks.
2. Do GVI of the lower half of the fuselage from the ground during walk
around as per AMM 05-21-00-200-001-A.
3. Check for presence, condition, clear and cleanliness of Pitot & Static ports,
all probes sensors and crew oxygen cylinder over Pressure indicator (Green
disc).
4. Inspect belly fairing access panels & wing-to-fuselage fairings for missing
fasteners.
5. Do a general visual inspection of the stabilizers and the rear fuselage from
the ground during the aircraft walk-around as per AMM 05-23-00-200-001-
A.
6. Make a GVI of the MLG from ground as far as visible & MLG doors as per
AMM 05-27-00-200-001-A.
7. Do a GVI of wing lower surface. This includes the slats and flaps.

8. Do a general visual inspection of the passenger/crew doors, the emergency


exits and the cargo doors as far as visible from the ground during the aircraft
walk-around as per AMM 05-28-00-200-001-A.
9. Check APU cowling latches are properly closed during the aircraft walk-
around.
10. Ensure potable water servicing (if required).

B. NLG/MLG SHOCK STRUTS:

1. Check NLG / MLG shock absorber for Normal extension and cleanliness.
2. Carry out cleaning of shining portion of Main and Nose Landing Gear Shock
Strut telescoping member.

C. ENGINES NACELLES AND PYLONS (TO BE PERFORMED ON BOTH ENGINES)


1. GVI of power plants, nacelles & pylons of engine 1 & 2 as far as visible from
ground as per AMM 05-24-00-200-001-A.
2. Check visually Engines & Pylons (Cowling closed) for general condition
including: Cowling panel, air outlets security of latches, lip skin, intake cowl
and engines/pylons drain masts for no obstruction and evidence of leakage.
3. Check fan blades and spinner for FOD and free rotation
Note: Direction of rotation is CCW (Forward Looking Aft).
4. Check visually using flash light turbine exhaust 5th stage LPT blades nozzle and
exhaust/cone for damage and metal deposit.
5. Check visually using flash light fan exhaust: acoustic lining exit vanes and
struts, thrust reverser blocker door.
6. Check fan thrust reverser doors are properly latched (Red indicator not
protruding)
7. Check Engine intake/ exhaust and Pylon area for sign of damage and leaks.

8. Engine fuel & control - Correct faults of the engine Scheduled Maintenance Report
(SMR).

D. INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR (TO BE PERFORMED ON BOTH ENGINES)

1. Check oil level of integrated drive generator (green range) and replenish, if
necessary, as per AMM 24-21-51-200-010-A.
Record IDG Oil Qty Uplifted: IDG #1 _______(Quart) IDG #2 _______(Quart)
2. Check filter differential pressure indicator (pop out not protruding) as per
AMM 24-21-51-200-010-A.

2. FUEL TANK:
A. Drain water contents from each fuel tank as per AMM 12-32-28-281-001-A.

3. TIRE PRESSURE:
A. 1. Check tire pressure as per AMM 32-41-00-210-003-A, if incorrect inflate the
tire with nitrogen and then record the following values.

2. Perform General Visual inspection of Landing gear brake units as per AMM
32-40-00-210-801-A.
3. Functional Check of Brake Heat Pack for Wear by Use of the Wear Indicator
(Parking Brake Applied) as per AMM 32-42-27-210-003-A and fill out below
table.

4. Perform LH and RH MLG door actuator PN 114122014 greasing as per AMM


Task 12-22-32-640-001-A. (TASK TO BE PERFORMED ON LAST WEEKLY CHECK
OF THE MONTH)

Ensure greasing of both eye end bearings is accomplished (Refer to FIGURE 2


attached to this sheet for grease nipples location).

4. CARGO COMPARTMENT:
A. TO BE PERFORMED FOR EACH CARGO COMPARTMENT

1. Carry out visual inspection of following items in each cargo compartment.


a. Door nets and divider nets and net attachment joints.
b. Cargo compartment decompression, lining, floor panels and pressure
compensation valve as per AMM 25-50-00-200-002-A. (Refer to
FIGURE 3 attached with this sheet for compensation valve open &
Close position).
c. Check cargo compartment for obvious damage and cleanliness.
d. Check Serviceability of Cargo Compartment lights.

5. INTERNAL FUSELAGE:
A. COCKPIT

1. Check instrument & all panels for cleanliness, condition & security of
installation.
2. Check cockpit interior, flooring pedestal; upholstery, cover
windows/windshields for cleanliness.
3. Check crew seats, belts & shoulder harness for condition.
4. Check windows & windshields for cracks and delamination. Check sliding
window for general condition & operation.
5. Check crew oxygen pressure.
6. Operational check of Emergency Generating System as per AMM 24-24-00-
710-001-A.
7. Operational check of emergency power supply units by bite-check as per
AMM 33-51-00-710-001-A.
8. Check CFDS (PFR) for observation of MLG doors LANDING GEAR /
EXTENSION / RETRACTION / All Landing Gears and/or Doors Slow Operation.
9. Operational Check of Electrical Flight Control System (EFCS) - The logics
activating ELAC 1, ELAC 2 and SEC1 standby power supplies - to confirm
ability of SEC.1 and SEC.2 to achieve pitch control - to confirm ability of side
stick priority function as per AMM 27-96-00-710-018-A.
10. Print, Review and attach PFR with the Weekly Check.
11. At KHI Only: Remove PCMCIA card as per AMM TASK 31-36-00-000-001-A
containing EHM data from the FDIMU and send to MCC. Replace with a new
one as per AMM TASK 31-36-00-400-001-A. In case Weekly Check is
performed at out station raise entry in DDL for this task and intimate MCC
for scheduling this task at arrival of Aircraft at Base Station.

12. Check the inventory of the spare lamp box located on the left side panel in
the cockpit and fill the tables on Figure 4 or Figure 5 which ever applicable
attached with this sheet.

Note: Raise demand in case of any shortage in available quantity.

B. HYDRAULIC, ENGINE OIL QUANTITY & SQUIB TEST

1. Check hydraulic quantity on ECAM as per AMM TASK 29-30-00-200-002-A.


Make an entry in Tech Log if any replenishment is performed.
2. Check engine oil quantity within 5 to 60 min after engine shut down: if
indication is below minimum, check engine oil level at tank sight glass top-
up oil as required.
Note:
Servicing is not required prior to departure if the engine was serviced on
arrival or the oil tank sight glass shows a minimum of 23 quarts or the
cockpit indication shows a minimum of 19 quarts and pre-departure
walkaround checks confirm no oil pools/drips from drain mast.
Caution:
Adding too much oil to the tank can result in amber cross quantity indication
warnings and service disruption.
Note: In case servicing of fluid is performed, a re-inspection should be
carried out to re-check that the filler cap is securely locked and fastened.
All fluid uplifts should be recorded in applicable TLB page.
3. Perform operational test of the APU fire-extinguishing Loop/Squib as per
AMM Task 26-22-00-710-001-A.
4. Perform operational test of the Engine fire-extinguishing Loop/Squib as per
AMM Task 26-12-00-710-001-A.
C. APU OIL LEVEL & HOURS RECORD

1. Perform APU oil level Check from sight glass as per AMM TASK 49-90-00-
600-007-A (131-9(A)) or AMM Task 49-90-00-600-004-A (APS 3200) as
applicable.

D. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT

Check all the emergency equipment for condition quantity & validity. Check that
all installation/ fixtures / brackets etc. required to secure the emergency
equipment to their proper location are installed and in serviceable condition.
Raise Defer defect list for replacement as required.

Note:

Refer Emergency Equipment Chart in aircraft for location of equipment.

E. AIRCRAFT DOCUMENTATION g. Noise Certificate

F. PASSENGER CABIN
1. Review Cabin Maintenance Logbook & CDDL and take necessary actions.
2. Ensure A/C interior cleanliness.

3. Check PVC floor covering near entry door and galley areas for obvious
damage and cleanliness.
4. Check Pressure of Emergency Cylinder/Accumulator of the
Passenger/Crew Doors as per AMM 52-10-00-210-004-A.

5. Passenger seats for obvious damage and seat covers for condition and stain.

6. Sidewall- and ceiling panels, bins, partitions and curtains for obvious
damages and cleanliness.
7. Ceiling panels for proper installation.

8. Check all portable Oxygen units for minimum dispatch pressure.

9. Check for serviceability of cabin reading, external lights. Operational test of


cabin emergency lights by “Test Emergency Light Sys” pushbutton &
emergency escape path marking.
10. In all Galley’s Area Check Galley Inserts & Equipment for missing parts,
condition, serviceability of Electrically operated items & water taps for
Proper function.
11. Ensure that the waste bin compartment doors are securely closed and waste
disposal slot flaps are operating correctly.

12. Cleaning of vacuum waste lines with chemical cleaning agent and crushed ice as
per AMM 38-31-00-100-018-A.

13. Control Panel Lamp Test Zonal dyer system (To be performed on AP-BOA
Only)
1. Check that the ZD, 15A circuit breaker on the 122VU Circuit Breaker
Panel is closed.
2. Check that the ZD, 1A circuit breaker on the 122VU Circuit Breaker
Panel is closed.
3. Check that ZD ON/OFF switch on the control panel is in ON position.
4. Press and hold the reset button (lamp test). The “ZD FAULT”, “ZD
OPERATIVE” and “ZD REDUCED PERFORMANCE” indicators shall
illuminate.
5. Release the reset button. The indicators “ZD FAULT” and “ZD
REDUCED PERFORMANCE” shall extinguish.
