To all amateur Violin Makers and Hobbyists

It is the earnest hope of the author of this Catalogue of

Violin making materials and tools, that it will prove of fjreal ./4rfinc/a/e
interest to you. Viol?/z Maker
Being practicing Violin Maker and Repairer for over
a
1243 PALM STREET
30 years, the 'writer is fully acquainted with the needs of
the craft, and competent to guide you and supply your
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA
requirements.
It takes hours of painstaking and exacting labor to pro-
duce a fine violin, and to expend this time and energy on
inferior materials may prove a disappointment, as the finest
workmanship would be marred by the use of inferior wood.
No violin maker would use anything but the finest old sea-
soned and figured wood for his creations. Hence, my en-
’ deavor at all times is to supply the best compatible with
price.
As beginners invariably confine their initial efforts to
violins, this Catalogue specializes in supplies for this instru-
ment. However, materials for Violas and Cellos are avail-
able and particulars may be obtained upon application, or
may be ordered for you.
Please feel free to share your problems and avail your-
self of the guidance which my years of experience can offer.
