For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good
degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. And they went out of the
prison, and entered into [the house of] Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed. And after these things he
went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. Then said the Lord to him, Put off
thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground. Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the
daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward [is] with him, and his work before him. These ye shall eat of all that [are] in
the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it [is] unclean unto you. Mine
heritage [is] unto me [as] a speckled bird, the birds round about [are] against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he
scattereth his bright cloud: And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world
in the earth. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. I will praise thee
for ever, because thou hast done [it]: and I will wait on thy name; for [it is] good before thy saints. Thou shalt see greater things than these. It
is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. What man [is he that] liveth, and shall not see death? And now, behold, we [are]
in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But
when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. The
Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is
justified of all her children. Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and
it shall bring forth fruit for three years. Where [are] the gods of Hamath and Arphad? Therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which
thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And this [was] their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the
Lord, saith thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to
mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing. And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of
Hamath. And God’s anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. [Why is light given]
to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. And [how] hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it
is? He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings [are they] on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are
exalted. Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel. And Israel set liers in
wait round about Gibeah. For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without [were] fightings,
within [were] fears. Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I [am] the LORD. And in the days of these kings
shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in
pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Amen. And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now
shew you what the Syrians have done to us. And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that [was] in the host of the
Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth
thou shalt have wars. And they buried Abner in Hebron: and the king lifted up his voice, and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the
king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink
offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the he brasen altar shall be for me to inquire [by]. When
the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were
sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses. And he
slew all the priests of the high places that [were] there upon the altars, and burned men’s bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem. And Jesus
stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? Will he reserve [his anger] for ever? Glory ye in his
holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more
shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? But the men [were] very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed
we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields: They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we
were with them keeping the sheep. He that loveth pureness of heart, [for] the grace of his lips the king [shall be] his friend. And the Lord said
unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. And he
answered, No. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul
said, [Is] this thy voice, my son David? And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was
suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I
yet? Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt [is] yours. And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the
children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the LORD hath commanded. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the
mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for [as for] this Moses,
the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And the superscription of his accusation was written over,
THE KING OF THE JEWS. For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD:
and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. If we receive the witness of men, the witness
of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of
Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that [was] the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; The which
Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son
of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that [is] the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto
you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened. For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth
that [their] power is gone, and [there is] none shut up, or left. These [are] the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of
the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites. And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed
things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold [that
was] found in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and in the king’s house, and sent [it] to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from
Jerusalem. And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling [unto him] the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. Lo,
we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. And they compassed [him] in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the
city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him. Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the
water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago. And GOD saw that the
wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And my tongue
shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long. Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which
they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us
find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants. And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came
out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be
established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do
evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good. And these [are] the golden emerods which the Philistines returned [for] a trespass offering unto the
LORD; for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Askelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one; And the golden mice, [according to] the number of all the cities
of the Philistines [belonging] to the five lords, [both] of fenced cities, and of country villages, even unto the great [stone of] Abel, whereon
they set down the ark of the LORD: [which stone remaineth] unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite. Cursed [be] the man who brought
tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad. I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble
and fear before the God of Daniel: for he [is] the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed, and his
dominion [shall be even] unto the end. Selah. Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting [you] in
remembrance; Knowing that shortly I must put off [this] my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. Then certain of the heads of
the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of
Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war, And said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have offended
against the LORD [already], ye intend to add [more] to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and [there is] fierce wrath against
Israel. For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and [that] I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest [there
be] debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: [And] lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among
you, and [that] I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which
they have committed. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? And he
answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king;
because thy servant [is] lame. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end. Ointment and perfume rejoice the
heart: so [doth] the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel. This [is] the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for
burdens: And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’
skins that [is] above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, And the hangings of the court, and the hanging
for the door of the gate of the court, which [is] by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their
service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve. But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the
whore. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought
me? And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the
Baptist. Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your
fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? In thy filthiness [is] lewdness: because I
have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. And
God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I
shall keep it [unto] the end. Thy kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion [endureth] throughout all generations. And I saw another
angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and
tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made
heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. These four [were] the sons of Shimei. Surely this also [is] vanity and vexation of
spirit. Why? All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ? What shall we then say to these things? And there
arose a great cry: and the scribes [that were] of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an
angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled
which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her
inhabitants. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his
mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries [that are] desolate,
and her cities among the cities [that are] laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will
disperse them through the countries. And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city
of David: and Abijah his son reigned in his stead. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail
that is spread over all nations. Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor
counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and

burn their fat [for] an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD. And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by
the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be
spilled, and the bottles shall perish. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And
Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I
send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and
knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man
at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now.
Will ye speak wickedly for God? Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you,
and keep [you] from evil. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. He destroyed their vines
with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost. I [am] the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of
Canaan, [and] to be your God. And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, [it is] nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with
them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. So Boaz took Ruth, and she was
his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not [so much
as] to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when [as yet] he had no child. And

God service. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. For the word of
God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use [it] rather. And they
came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, [and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and
every man that offered [offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto
him to scorch men with fire. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy
people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee. These [are] the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the
Shuhamites. Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited [me] in the night; thou hast tried me, [and] shalt find nothing; I am purposed [that] my
mouth shall not transgress. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed
in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the
half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince
throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one [was] an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel. From henceforth let no
man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw
four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. It shall not be baken with leaven. Hear ye,
and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken. But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Even very dark, and no brightness in it? At that
time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless
in his name, unto this day. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and
thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web. To
him [be] glory both now and for ever. And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him out of the
hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in
him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. Open thy
mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. [or] who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Not for
your sakes do I [this], saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. And he said, Come.
And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve
him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give [you] the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain,
that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. But Jesus said
unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. And David prepared iron in
abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight; Also cedar trees in abundance: for
the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day [is] a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye
shall not find it in the field. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more
say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the
seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land. All
these [things] did Araunah, [as] a king, give unto the king. And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. And their brethren among all the families of Issachar
[were] valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand. But Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the
days of Jehoahaz. He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually. Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though
thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; [thy] lovers will
despise thee, they will seek thy life. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. And when he was come near unto her, the woman said, [Art]
thou Joab? And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it. And he returned to the man of God, he
and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now
therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s
house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. Or his head with fish spears? For nothing is secret, that shall
not be made manifest; neither [any thing] hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast
with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit,
twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness for ever. And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here;
lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And it came to pass after these things, [that] the butler of the king of Egypt and [his] baker
had offended their lord the king of Egypt. And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that
[belongeth] to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge. Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother’s house
in the day of thy calamity: [for] better [is] a neighbour [that is] near than a brother far off. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in
the house of the LORD. For all that do such things, [and] all that do unrighteously, [are] an abomination unto the LORD thy God. But the soul that
eateth [of] the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that [pertain] unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be
cut off from his people. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say
unto the children of Israel, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put
off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. 1And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the
covenant of the LORD. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. Behold, I went out to withstand thee,
because [thy] way is perverse before me: And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I
had slain thee, and saved her alive. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the
treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. And the
evening and the morning were the third day. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? And
they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him: His
sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt. And he said, Hearken, O
people, every one of you. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by
power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things
which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man:

Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, [that were] valiant men: And they withstood Uzziah the king, and
said unto him, [It appertaineth] not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to
burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither [shall it be] for thine honour from the LORD God. And they made an end with
