they don’t know how to teach science effectively. Working under these circumtances, its no wonder that
the teachers tends to to treat science as an afterhaist.
2. High quality elementary science education is essential for establishing a sound foundation of learning
in later grades, intiling a wonder of and enthusiasm for science that last a lifetime, and addressing the
