    Women Creating Change To: Guidance Counselors, Scholarship Coordinators Duval County High Schools From: The Woman’s Club of Jacksonville Re: 2024 Scholarships Each year, The Woman’s Club of Jacksonville awards scholarships to young women from Florida. There are a limited number of scholarships, usually in the range of $1000 to $3000. We also award a special $5000 scholarship in memory of Jerry Ferguson. Eligibility: * Graduating High School senior woman resident of Florida * Accepted at an accredited college or university in the United States * GPA of “B’ or higher Deadline for applications this year is Sunday April 7 For more information about our scholarships, please contact: Martha Tromberg, Scholarship Committee Chair [email protected] The Woman's Club of Jacksonville Annual Scholarship And The Jerry Ferguson Memorial Scholarship Eligibility ‘The Woman's Club of Jacksonville Annual Scholarship: Graduating High School Senior woman, ‘or woman currently attending an undergraduate college or university, or woman who has completed her GED program. The scholarship amount will be determined by The Woman's Club of Jacksonville, deny Ferguson Memorial Scholarship ONLY: Graduating High School Senior Woman, resident of Florida. The Jerry Ferguson Memorial Scholarship of $5,000 will only be gifted one time to a recipient. All graduating high school senior applications received for the Annual Scholarship are automatically eligible for this scholarship. Beguired Documentation: * Completed application * GPA of "B" orhigher. * Essay of than 600 words outlining reasons for requesting scholarship, appicart qualfestions, aspirations, future educational plans, personal and professional goals, other information the applicant would like the committee to know or update. * Transcript from current school {Copies are acceptable). * Community Service * Arecent picture ofthe applicant. The application and supporting documentation are due Sunday, April 7, 2024 Additional Information; ‘The scholarship check will be made payable to the college or university and the recipient Jointly, presented to the recipient at our club meeting on May 22, 2024.
