MOBILIZATION AND SITE SETUP
GATEWAY SECURITY ACCESS
GATE
LAJV established the GATEWAY security access gate with a
drop arm barrier in order to control unauthorized access to the
LAJV LUP area.

NESMA Security team has contracted and deployed at the

gate for the control of access.

CCTV installation and communication systems will be LAJV SECURITY TEAM

established shortly. PMC and LAJV are coordinating to assess
the progress of those initiatives.

PMC coordinates and evaluates the arrangement and

implementation on daily basis.

MOBILIZATION AND SITE SETUP LAJV INDUCTION ROOM
FLOW CHART
LAJV set up a Site Induction room at the
GATEWAY Security checkpoint to
provide Site Induction for NEOM, PMC
and other NEOM contractors.

LAJV/PMC circulated an email

containing the flow chart indicating the
steps to acquire the Site Induction and
Access/Visitor badges. LAJV INDUCTION ROOM

During the site set-up and mobilization

phase, PMC conducted an inspection,
which resulted in LAJV receiving a score
of 91%, and pending actions are being

Key Achievements
TOOLBOX TALK

PMC and LAJV have initiated dedicated toolbox talks on significant

hazards related 'NO BOOTS ON GROUND', 'PAPI' & 'Behavioral
Based Safety' (BBS) associated with LAJV's current activities.

NEOM knowledge shares and other knowledge shares that have been
released within the Trojena from other work orders and clusters are
shared by the taskforce.

The Activity Briefing Form (ABF) meeting is conducting daily by

supervisors and foremen with the support of a Health and Safety
Officer assigned to the area.

Key Achievements
INDUCTION – SENIOR
MANAGEMENT SITE VISIT
NEOM/PMC senior management site visit was conducted, focusing on
site mobilization and site set-up . The feedback was positive, and
suggestions made, were embraced and implemented by LAJV.

LAJV Coordinating and ensuring leadership participation in monthly

SHELT tours. The comments raised have been addressed in order to
take prompt action to resolve those issue.

Key Achievements
MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
Geo hazards:

• LAJV mountain climbers have been mobilized on Trojena.

• First geohazard assessment has been completed and a report has
been issued.
• Anchor point has been installed, tested, and the access rope has been
opened.
• Scaling and rock cleaning activities are ongoing.

The temporary access road towards VAULT has been completed with
berms, barriers, and signs. VAULT ACCESS ROAD

Using water canon trucks, dust control is performed on daily basis on the

INSPECTION

PMC conducted a Cold stress focus

inspection, which resulted in LAJV receiving
a score of 82%, and pending actions are
being addressed.
