IDEX SCHOLARSHIP FOR MSc CANDIDATES

APPLICATION FORM
Before filling in the form, please read carefully

1- What is the IDEX Scholarship?


The Idex Scholarship is a scholarship of excellence that covers all of your tuition fees and
includes a stipend of €5,000 paid in two instalments over the academic year.

2- Am I eligible?

To be eligible you will first have to apply for one of these Université Côte d’Azur’s:

• European MSc in Molecular Pathology,


• MSc Biobanks and complex data management,
• MSc Data science & artificial intelligence,
• MSc Biocontrol solutions for plant health,
• MSc Modeling of neuronal and cognitive science,
• MSc Environmental hazards and risks management,
• MSc Creative music and sound design for visual media scoring
• MSc Management of the flavor and fragrance industry,
• MSc Marres Ocean science, conservation and innovation,
• MSc SMART-EDTECH, Co-creativity and technology enhanced learning

The main criterion of selection is academic excellence, so candidates of any age or nationality can
apply as long as their results match expectations.

Note that students who have already been registered at Université Côte d’Azur are NOT
eligible. Also, this scholarship cannot be combined with any other.

3- How should I apply?


Students should apply for the MSc program of their choice BEFORE applying for the IDEX
Scholarship.

To apply, please follow these instructions:

• Complete the Idex Scholarship Application Form electronically. Do not print to fill in
manually (see section 4. for more information on how to complete the form)
• Rename the file “IDEX Scholarship application - your name”
• Prepare a PDF copy of your academic transcripts for your last academic year
 If you are currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, provide your transcript for
academic year 2022-2023
If you have already completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, provide your transcript for
the final year of your degree
• Merge the form and the academic transcript into one single document
Send your application to the address [email protected] with the title

“IDEXScholarship application + your name + MSc you applied to”.

4- How should I complete the form?

The form is divided into 2 parts.


• The first one covers your personal details and is straightforward.

Two remarks though:


 Regarding your date of birth (D.O.B.) please use the format dd/mm/yyyy
 Make sure you indicate an e-mail address that will not be deactivated as we will use it to
inform you of the outcome

• The second one covers your Academic Background and results obtained.

 If you are currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, we will want to
know about the 2022-2023 academic year. You will need to provide the title of your degree,
the name and location of your university and also the overall grade for that year. This will be
checked against the academic transcript included in your application.

 If you have already completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, we will want to
know about your final year of studies. You will need to provide the title of your degree, the
university name and location as well as your overall grade for that year. This will be checked
against the academic transcript included in your application.

5- How can I be sure the administration received my application?

Candidates will receive an automatic confirmation.

6- When will I know the outcome?


The results should be announced around mid-June 2024, whether favourable or not.
