15 DAYS TRAVEL PLAN

‘Sweden 10 Days & Poland 5 Days’

Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm

 Arrive in Stockholm and check into my accommodation.


 Spend the afternoon exploring the Gamla Stan (Old Town) area with its narrow streets
and historic buildings.
 Visit the Royal Palace and the Stockholm Cathedral.
 Enjoy dinner at a traditional Swedish restaurant.

Day 2: Vasa Museum and Skansen

 Start my day at the Vasa Museum, which houses the remarkably well-preserved Vasa
warship.
 Afterward, visit Skansen, an open-air museum showcasing Swedish life and culture.
 Enjoy an evening stroll along Strandvägen, a picturesque waterfront boulevard.

Day 3: Djurgården Island

 Spend the day exploring Djurgården Island.


 Visit attractions such as the ABBA Museum, the Nordic Museum, and the Gröna Lund
amusement park.
 Relax with a picnic in one of the island's parks or gardens.

Day 4: Modern Stockholm

 Explore the modern side of Stockholm by visiting the trendy neighborhood of


Södermalm.
 Browse the boutiques, cafes, and galleries in the area.
 Visit Fotografiska, a contemporary photography museum with stunning views of the city.

Day 5: Stockholm Archipelago

 Take a day trip to the Stockholm Archipelago.


 Enjoy a boat tour or ferry ride through the islands, stopping at charming villages along
the way.
 Try some fresh seafood at a local restaurant.

Day 6: City Hall and Museums

 Visit Stockholm City Hall, known for its impressive architecture and Nobel Prize
banquet.
 Explore the museums on the island of Skeppsholmen, such as the Moderna Museet
(Museum of Modern Art) and the Swedish Museum of Architecture.

Day 7: Shopping and Dining

 Spend the day shopping in Stockholm's upscale districts, such as Östermalm and
Norrmalm.
 Enjoy lunch at a cozy cafe or try traditional Swedish dishes at a local restaurant.
 In the evening, indulge in fine dining at one of Stockholm's Michelin-starred restaurants.

Day 8: Royal Djurgården

 Return to Djurgården Island to visit attractions my may have missed, such as the ABBA
Museum or the Rosendal Palace.
 Explore Djurgården's natural beauty with a walk or bike ride through its parks and
forests.

Day 9: Stockholm's Waterways

 Take a scenic boat tour of Stockholm's waterways, including Lake Mälaren and the city's
many canals.
 Visit attractions such as the Drottningholm Palace, the residence of the Swedish royal
family.
 Enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant overlooking the city skyline.

Day 10: Departure

 Depending on my flight time, spend my last few hours in Stockholm exploring any
remaining sights or doing some last-minute shopping.
 Depart from Stockholm and head home, carrying with my memories of a wonderful trip
to Sweden's vibrant capital.

Day 11: Arrival in Warsaw

 Arrive in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland.


 Check into my accommodation and freshen up.
 Begin my exploration of Warsaw with a visit to the historic Old Town (Stare Miasto), a
UNESCO World Heritage site.
 Explore the Royal Castle, St. John's Archcathedral, and the Market Square.
 Enjoy dinner at a traditional Polish restaurant, sampling pierogi (dumplings) and other
local dishes.
Day 12: Warsaw Sightseeing

 Start my day at the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which tells the story of the city's
resistance during World War II.
 Visit the Palace of Culture and Science, an iconic building in Warsaw offering panoramic
views of the city.
 Take a stroll along the Royal Route, lined with beautiful palaces and gardens.
 In the evening, consider attending a Chopin concert, as Warsaw is the composer's
birthplace.

Day 13: Kraków

 Travel to Kraków, one of Poland's most picturesque cities, either by train or by car (about
a 3-hour journey).
 Check into my accommodation and explore Kraków's Old Town, another UNESCO
World Heritage site.
 Visit the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny) and the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice).
 Climb up Wawel Hill to explore Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral.
 Enjoy dinner at a traditional Polish restaurant in the Kazimierz district, known for its
Jewish heritage.

Day 14: Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków Continued

 Take a guided tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, a sobering but


important experience to learn about the Holocaust.
 Return to Kraków and spend the afternoon exploring more of the city.
 Visit Schindler's Factory Museum, which provides insight into Kraków's history during
World War II.
 Explore the Kazimierz district further, with its charming streets, synagogues, and Jewish
heritage sites.

Day 15: Wieliczka Salt Mine and Departure

 Visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, located just outside of Kraków. Take a guided tour
through the underground chambers, tunnels, and chapels carved entirely out of salt.
 After my tour, return to Kraków for some last-minute souvenir shopping or sightseeing.
 Depending on my departure time, enjoy a final meal in Kraków before heading to the
airport for my journey to home.
