REFLECTION:

Janine Sarmiento

We started with my partner on creating a detailed lesson plan and delivering a demo teaching
session. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience for me. It marked my initial progress into
crafting such a comprehensive plan.

Developing a detailed lesson plan showed to be a challenging task. It required a deep

understanding of each teaching component and its alignment with the learning objectives.
Maintaining a balanced pace throughout the plan was quite challenging. However, this process
highlighted the importance of meticulous preparation.

Transitioning from planning to executing the demo teaching was a significant learning curve.
Initially nervous, I discovered the importance of adaptability. Unexpected situations called for quick
adjustments without losing sight of the learning goals, emphasizing the need for flexibility in
teaching.

This experience taught me several important lessons. The demo teaching underscored the
significance of adaptability, enabling adjustments on the fly without losing focus. Engaging with
students highlighted the importance of encouraging active participation for an effective learning
environment. And finally, the feedback that provided insights into areas for improvement, fostering
personal and professional growth.
