    1. Vice chair-person of SRC and a member of the School Governing Body (2005)

    2. Top Juniors leadership program (2006)

    This was a leadership program which I became a part of in my first year. The program taught me valuable interpersonal and life skills that have groomed me into becoming a better individual.

    3. Top Seniors leadership program (2007)

    I proceeded to join the Top Seniors leadership program in 2007. I did voluntary work as a peer educator at the Thandokulu High School in Mowbray, Cape Town where I educated the youth on the dangers of unsafe sex and teenage pregnancy.

    4. Peer mentor (2008)

    I became a peer mentor at my residence in 2008. My duties include guiding the first and second year students both emotional and academic issues.

    5. Women in leadership program (2010)

    I am currently a member of the Women in leadership program. The program is aimed at enriching and powering women in becoming more successful individuals. The program also helps us in becoming more confident in a man dominated work environment.
