Information on the updating for WRC-12 upgrade kit

2．Objective Equipment
7ZZJD0117A: WRC-12 upgrade kit for JSS-2150/2250/2500 MF/HF radio equipment.

※The upgrade kit will be updated from 7ZZJD0117A to 7ZZJD0117B.

Therefore, 7ZZJD0117A will be discontinued soon.

3．Outlines
< Reason for updating >
The software of CMC-2425/2450 PA CONTROL UNIT of NTD-2250/2500 included in the
WRC-12 upgrade kit for JSS-2150/2250/2500 is updated.

About the reduction power during transmission of the JSS-2250/2500 MF/HF radio
equipment, the permissible range of both upper and lower limits have been applied by
changing the interpretation of article 41 of the radio equipment regulation for Japanese
flag ships.

< Countermeasure >

Changes from the 7ZZJD0117A to 7ZZJD0117B are as follows:
- Software for NTD-2250/2500 PA CONTROL UNIT
2250-2500PA_0220.P1M -> 2250-2500_PA_0240.P1M
- Upgrade procedure
Revision of maintenance number (MNo.) with software updating.
※Updating procedure is not changed.

< Procedure for using the old kit >

If it is necessary to use the old kit “7ZZJD0117 / 7ZZJD0117A”, please download the
appropriate software of CMC-2425/2450 PA CONTROL UNIT of NTD-2250/2500 from the
Marine Service Dept website.
