D1: Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.
OR
Though I walk in the valley of darkness, I fear no evil, for you are with me.
Verses:
o The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. In verdant pastures he gives me repose;
Beside restful waters he leads me: he refreshes my soul.
He guides me in right paths for his name’s sake.
o He guides me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk in the dark valley
I fear no evil; for you are at my side with your rod and your staff that give me courage.
o You spread the table before me in the sight of my foes;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
o Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come.
D2: Psalm 25
To you, O Lord, I lift my soul.
Verses:
o Remember that your compassion, O Lord, and your kindness are from of old.
In your kindness remember me, because of your goodness, O Lord.
o Relieve the troubles of my heart; and bring me out of my distress.
Put an end of my affliction and my suffering; and take away all my sins.
o Preserve my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for you, O Lord.
D3: Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and my salvation
Verses:
o The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear?
The Lord is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?
o One thing I ask of the Lord; this I seek:
To dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.
That I may gaze on the loveliness of the Lord and contemplate his temple.
o Hear, O Lord, the sound of my call; have pity on me, and answer me.
Your presence, O Lord, I seek. Hide not your face from me.
o I believe that I shall see the bounty of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord with courage; be stouthearted, and wait for the Lord.
D4: Psalm 42
My soul is thirsting for you the living God: when shall I see him face to face?
OR
As the deer longs, for running streams, so I long for you
Verses:
o As the hind longs for the running waters, so my soul longs for you, O God.
o A thirst is my soul for God, the living God. When shall I go and behold the face of God?
o I went with the throng and led them in procession to the house of God.
Amid loud cries of joy and thanksgiving, with the multitude keeping festival.
o Send forth your light and your fidelity; they shall lead me on
And bring me to your holy mountain, to your dwelling-place.
o Then will I go in to the altar of God, the God of my gladness and joy;
Then will I give you thanks upon the harp, O God, my God!
o Why are you so downcast, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me?
Hope in God! For I shall again be thanking him, in the presence of my savior and my God.
D5: Psalm 63
My soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God.
Verses:
o O God, you are my God whom I seek; for you my flesh pines and my soul thirsts like the earth,
parched, lifeless and without water.
o Thus have I gazed toward you in the sanctuary to see your power and your glory, for your kindness
is a greater good than life; my lips shall glorify you.
o Thus will I bless you while I live; lifting up my hands, I will call upon your name. As with the riches of
a banquet shall my soul be satisfied, and with exultant lips my mouth shall praise you.
o You are my help, and in the shadow of your wings I shout for joy. My soul clings fast to you; your
right hand upholds me.

O Loving God LONDONDERRY
Abide with Me (David Crowder, Jason Ingram, Matt Maher, Matt Redman)
Abide with me abide with me. Don't let me fall and don't let go. Walk with me and never leave ever
close God abide with me.
Verses:
1. I have a home eternal home but for now I walk this broken world. You walked it first you know
our pain. But you show hope can rise again up from the grave.
2. There in the night Gethsemane before the cross before the nails. Overwhelmed alone you
prayed. You met us in our suffering and bore our shame.
Eternal Father, Strong to Save (Robert Spencer, William Whiting- NAVY HYMN)
1. Eternal Father, strong to save, whose arm hath bound the restless wave, who bids the mighty ocean
deep its own appointed limits keep; O hear us when we raise our plea for those in peril on the sea.
2. O Christ, the Lord of hill and plain o'er which our traffic runs amain by mountain pass or valley low;
wherever, Lord, your loved ones go, protect them by your guarding hand from ev'ry peril on the land.
3. O Spirit, whom the Father sent to spread abroad the firmament; O Wind of heaven, by your might save
all who dare the eagle's flight, and keep them by your watchful care from ev'ry peril in the air.
4. O Trinity of love and pow'r, your children shield in danger's hour; from rock and tempest, fire and foe,
protect them wheresoe'er they go; and then shall rise with voices free glad praise from air and land and
sea.
