Step: 1

Select the game you would like to create an installer for


from the drop down menu.
Then click the 'Next' button to continue.

Step: 2

Disconnect all flash drives you want to make


into installers, from your computer.

Click the 'Next' button to continue.

Step: 3

Plug-in each flash drive you want to turn into an installer.

As the program detects each drive, an info box will


appear listing information about the drive.

Once all of the drives you want to turn into installers


have appeared, click the 'Next' button to continue.
Note: The program will only recognize up-to 10 drives at a time

A warning screen will appear, informing you that each


of the drives listed will be completely erased.
Click the 'Next' button to continue.

Step: 5

The flash drives are now being turned into installers.


This process may take a while.
When complete you will automatically be taken to the next screen.

This screen displays the results of the Flash Creator.


If a drive was successfully turned into an installer it will be Green.
If a drive failed to be turned into in an installer it will appear Red.

Success: Green || Failed: Red

Step: 7

Remove all flash drives you turned into installers from you computer.

Step: 1
Plug in the Flash Drive installer you would like to add or remove games from.

Note: The flash drive must have previously been setup using the
Flash Creator Program

Step: 2

In a Windows Explorer window, navigate to the flash drive. You should


see 2 folders, “boot” & “porteus”, as well as the .ISO files of the game
you installed with the creator.

Adding Games

To add a game to the drive simply copy all the ISOs of the desired game to this section
of the flash drive. An easy way to this is to simply drag and drop the ISO file.

Removing Games

To remove a game, simply delete all the ISOs of the game you wish to remove,
from the flash drive. A quick way to delete an ISO is to click on it and press the
delete key.

Once you have finished adding and removing games, safely eject the flash drive
from the computer by right clicking on the drive in the left hand column, and
selecting “Eject” from the menu.

Step: 1

Plug the flash drive into the PC you wish to update. Then power-cycle the
machine.

After a few seconds a menu such as the one shown above should appear.

Note: If the computer boots normally and the menu above does not appear the PCs
BIOS settings may be incorrectly setup. Contact your service provided for further
assistance.

Navigate to and select the game you want install. You can either use the buttons inside
of the coin door or a keyboard, to navigate the menu. The controls are displayed on the
right hand side of the screen.

By default the service buttons are displayed, however if the RIO is not detected or a
key press from a keyboard is detected, the keyboard controls will be displayed instead.

A confirmation message will appear on screen. Confirm you want to install the
game, and the installation will begin.

Step: 1

In the top left-hand corner of the window, select 'File' → 'Update Installer'.

Step: 2

Click on the “Select Update File” button.

Navigate to the location of the Flash Installer Update file you wish to use.
Select the file and click open.

The update file will be named “Flash_Installer_Update_#.#.#.7z” where the #


will be replaced with numbers. (ex. Flash_Installer_Update_1.0.0.7z)

If the file selected is a valid update file, the version number of the update
will be displayed and the “Update” button will be enabled.

Click the “Update” button to finish updating.

Once the update has finished, you will see a “Result” line
which will inform you if the update was successful or not.
