    I attempt to concentrate on the ideas about the Problem of power and knowledge

    in order to further my understanding of the introduction. According to Foucault,

    power is closely related to knowledge and not only a hierarchical structure.

    Knowledge is controlled and disseminated by organizations and people to exercise

    power.

    The term "power/knowledge" was used by him to highlight the interdependence

    of power and the knowledge systems that both shape and are shaped by it.Whereas

    Chomsky's theories of knowledge and power span linguistic, political, and ethical

    domains. Concerned with the effects of concentrated power on public perception,

    information distribution, and democratic processes, he criticizes the media, corporate

    power, and government policy. Through his writings, Chomsky challenges people to

    think critically about information sources, challenge authority, and take an active role

    in forming a society that is more just and equal.

    Additionally, from what I've been able to gather, Foucault questions the

    conventional wisdom that asserts knowledge and power to be distinct things.

    According to him, they are intricately entwined and mutually constitutive. Knowledge

    derives from power, and knowledge makes using power easier. And I understand too

    that the reason why Foucault's work is a testament to sustained critical rationality with

    political intent due to the methodical ways in which it challenges accepted

    conventions, illuminates the complexities of the links between power and knowledge,

    and gives people the means by which they may critically interact with and possibly

    even change the systems that control their lives. Critical study, activism, and

    conversations about power and society are still influenced by his intellectual legacy.
