1.(c) The 50th Edition of World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting for 2020 will be held
in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland from January 21-24, 2020.The Chief Minister of Punjab
Captain Amarinder Singh will be attending this meeting.

2.(d) In September 2019, the 7th World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF) 2019 was held in
Mumbai, Maharashtra on “Prosperous Society: Stronger Society” theme.WHEF 2020 will
be organized in The Hague, Netherlands.

3.(d) In February 2020 Kochi in Kerala will host the 20th annual national conference Medrecon
2020 on ‘Value of Data in Healthcare Ecosystem’ theme. Lorraine Fernandes, president of
the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations (IFHIMA) in
the US will address this conference in which more than 700 delegates from the healthcare
sector in India and abroad will participate in the event.

4.(b) India’s first e-waste clinic will be established in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal
Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) have
signed an agreement for the same. It will be set up on lines of the Solid Waste Management
Rules, 2016. In this electronic waste will be collected door-to-door or will be deposited
directly at the clinic in exchange for a fee.

5.(b) October 2019 is being observed as Breast Cancer Awareness month. On October 7, 2019,
Indian shuttler PV Sindhu introduced the world’s first ‘Life-size Augmented Reality (AR)
technology in the “ABC of breast health” app. It is an initiative of the Ushalakshmi Breast
Cancer Foundation.

strengthen the girl child. If a girl child is born, that family will receive Rs 15,000. Under

Mastercard India. He will look into new partnerships and development of digital payment
