Ethicon Echelon ENDOPATH® 60mm Linear stapler

– Each PERI-STRIPS DRY with VERITAS with Secure Grip Technology (PSDV Secure Grip) loading unit is packaged sterile in a separate pouch.
– PSDV Secure Grip is comprised of a loading unit, two bovine pericardium buttress strips, and a ship clip.
PACKAGING – PSDV Secure Grip is secured to the linear surgical stapler via an adhesive strip.
AND FEATURES – The user must peel the protective liner from both the Anvil and Cartridge buttresses of the product to expose the adhesive before
placing the product on the stapler.
– Before opening any PSDV Secure Grip product, check the label to ensure that the product is designed for the stapler of choice.

1. OPEN 2. PEEL
– Peel liner from both Anvil and Cartridge buttresses.
– I nspect outer pouch. Do not use product
NOTE: The plastic sheath is clearly labeled ANV depicting the Anvil
if pouch integrity is compromised. side and CART depicting the Cartridge side. These labels reflect
which sides of the product correspond to the stapler jaws.
– I n a sterile field, open inner pouch using
aseptic technique. CAUTION: Do not get the Anvil or Cartridge buttress wet before
applying, or the buttress may not adhere to the stapler properly.
– Remove and discard ship clip.
WARNING: Do not use or apply gel to liner.

3. SECURE 4. PASS
