Executive Summary Parent-teacher associations' main objective is to
foster strong relationships between parents, teachers,
and the entire school community. Dungan Elementary
School acknowledges and values the community's
partnership with parents, teachers, and the administration
in order to ensure that all of our students receive a top-
notch foundational education. PTA meeting was
conducted with the agenda : 1. Catch-up Fridays , 2.

II. Report:

Parent-teacher associations' main objective is to foster strong

relationships between parents, teachers, and the entire school community.
Dungan Elementary School acknowledges and values the community's
partnership with parents, teachers, and the administration in order to ensure
that all of our students receive a top-notch foundational education.
Open Issues
PTA meeting was conducted with the agenda : 1. Catch-up Fridays , 2.
Second Quarter Learners’ Performance and Intervention ,3. Learners at risk,
intervention and remediation and 4. Other matters.
Through the PTA meeting, performance of the pupils in the school and what
do they need to do to improve their studies. The parents’ guidance regarding
studies of the pupils especially reading and numeracy was reiterated. Reading
and improving numeracy of the learners were discussed for the parents to guide
their children especially the learners at risk.
Through the PTA meeting, the parents were inform of the activities such
National Reading Month. The parents will be given reading materials so they
can help the pupil to practice reading at home.
Plans : interventions for the learners at risk, reading remediation for the
non readers
Motion : Reading remediation will be conducted to the learners having
difficulty in reading
Vote : Unanimous approval
Resolved : The minutes of the meeting are approved and corrected.
