Naukri.com is an India-based employment-focused internet service that operates

through websites and mobile apps, the website was launched in 1997, is primarily
used for professional recruitment processes, and allows job seekers to publish their
resumes for various recruiters to check. Naukri.com’s parent company is Info
Edge, and as of 2021, the website holds an almost monopoly in the online job
recruitment sector with a 75% market share.
According to the CEO and founder of Naukri.com Bikhchandani:
“My idea of getting into the recruitment space with a database was ahead of its
time in terms of the infrastructure available to action the idea in India. We hit on
the naukri.com name almost by default — it was not our first choice, but all the
other possible domain names in English had already been taken”
With 800 thousand resumes searched daily in the 3 rd quarter of 2021, Naukri.com
is way ahead of its competition in India by a huge margin as the nearest competitor

premium pricing and gave similar facilities to job seekers as well. Naukri.com
provides services relating to resume writing and also provides options to job
seekers to boost their ranks among other seekers through subscription plans.
Through its premium subscription plan, Naukri.com provides multiple services to
job seekers such as applying for premium services, and having a direct
conversation with its recruiters is another special feature. It also helps its users to
find the best jobs for them by customizing the jobs list according to their needs and

has also been able to gain more consumers as job seekers due to that.
The second data proves the point of recruiter confidence as it can be analyzed that
the biggest revenue for the company comes from resume database access and with
a growing no. of resumes per year it can be clear that the company is playing its
