Ellie: Lara…
Lara: Oh, Ellie! Why are you crying?
Ellie: It’s… it’s Jared…
Lara: What? What’s wrong with Jared?
Ellie: I can’t say it, Lara. I can’t.
Lara: C’mon, Ellie, you’re making me worry. Just tell me what’s wrong.
Ellie: He’s gay!
Lara: What? Hahaha! That’s crazy! You’re kidding me, right?
Ellie: I wish I am. But no! Jared’s gay. He’s gay!
Lara: Seriously? How… how’s that even possible?
Ellie: I saw him, just awhile ago. He’s with Liam. I saw them kissing at the back of the gym.
Lara: What? Kissing? The great Liam Heimsworth? Oh my god! Are you serious?
Ellie: I saw them, Lara. I also can’t believe it.
Lara: Are you sure? Maybe you just misunderstood them, or it could be someone else.
Everyone knows they’re friends.
Ellie: No I’m sure of it. I can’t be wrong. I was looking for you. Then I caught them,
accidentally, they even saw me. If only I knew that you’re just here in this empty room, I
should have not gone to the gym and saw them kissing. I shouldn’t have been there!
Lara: I didn’t tell you that I was there. They saw you, right? What happened then?
Ellie: I ran. I didn’t know what to do. I was shocked, I still can’t believe it.
Lara: They kissed. They must be boyfriends then?
Ellie: But that can’t be. I can’t, I won’t accept it. I’m in love with him for three years and
now I just saw him kissing a guy? No, no, it’s not true.
Lara: Hushhh… stop crying, okay? Look, you ruined your make-up. You look horrible.
Ellie: I don’t care! Tell me, Lara, tell me I’m just dreaming.
Lara: But you saw it yourself, they kissed. It’s a nightmare then. Their relationship is much
deeper from being friends. Just forget about him, okay?
Ellie: How can I, Lara? I love him for three years. Three damn years!
Lara: Yeah, I know. But you have to! Now that you know he’s gay, it’s impossible for you
two already. And I think, this way, it would be easier for you to move on.
Ellie: I don’t know… so it was the reason why he kept refusing me for three years. He’s in
love with someone else… he’s gay.
Lara: C’mon, cheer up. Stop feeling so sad. Just think of it as a good thing. Don’t you think
they make a perfect couple?
Ellie: Seriously? You’re really telling me that? Are you really my bestfriend?
Lara: Of course, I’m just telling the truth. They’re both handsome. Liam is a member of the
soccer team, and Jared, well I got it, he’s hot, but it’s just that. Nothing else. I don’t even
know why so many girls are into him, they must be crazy. Unfortunately, you’re one of those
girls.
Ellie: He’s perfect, okay? He’s a true gentleman, who wouldn’t fall for him?
Lara: Well, I didn’t. But to lessen your pain, just accept it and support them.
Ellie: I can’t accept it, I love him. And support them? No way! I’m not like you, okay? I
don’t watch those bl series that you’re so damn crazy about.
Lara: I think now is the right time for you to start. I can recommend you some, just tell me.
Ellie: Lara, I’m serious here. They can’t be together. Their relationship will surely affect
them both. Maybe Jared was just out of his mind. I’ll talk to him.
Lara: Their relationship, their problem. And can’t you see it? Their relationship is secret
because they are trying to protect each other. They’re in love. Stop fooling yourself, Ellie.
They’re not just bestfriends but boyfriends! Forget Jared and just find someone else out there.
Ellie: No, I love him, Lara.
Lara: If you really do, you must accept him whoever or whatever he is and let him be happy
with someone he loves.
Ellie: But Liam's a guy. They can’t be together, Lara. That’s impossible.
Lara: He’s gay, okay? He’s gay. And who said they can’t be together? C’mon it’s 2021,
anyone can date whoever he likes. Just be open minded and accept that fact, okay?
Ellie: It’s not that easy. I love him for three years —
Lara: Cut the three years, okay? Just think of it like you just liked him yesterday and today
you found out that he’s actually gay. Of course it’s not easy but believe yourself, you can do
it.
Ellie: I’ll try.
Lara: Good. And of course, I will help you. Come to my house this Saturday. We’re going to
watch something.
Ellie: Watch what?
Lara: A bl series, of course.
Ellie: What? Seriously?
Lara: Seriously. I promise you won’t regret it.
Ellie: I’m trying to move on, Lara, not finding a new obsession.
Lara: I know. I’m telling you, it would be a great help. After then, I would not be surprised if
you suddenly support Liam and Jared.
Ellie: Okay, now I’m curious. Make sure that it will help me somehow.
Lara: It will. And besides, there are lots of fish in the ocean. Just make sure to choose the
straight one next time. Haha
