4. Risks (  Routes of entry) :
* By inhalation : Vapor may be irritating to respiratory system
* By oral intake : Liquid may be irritating to mouth
* By contact : Liquid may be irritating to skin and eye

HANDLING OF WASTE

1. Personal Protective Equipment


* Rubber Gloves, goggles and mask.

2. Procedures/ Precautions in handling, packaging, transporting and storage.


* Handle with care during transfer to 200liter drum. Do not lay the container on its side. Avoid prolonged
breathing vapor. Avoid contact eye, mouth and skin. Pack in container without rusty and leaking. Keep
container close tightly. Store in cool, well ventilation place and keep away from heat, sparks and flame.
Prohibited to eat, drink and smoke at the storage area. Always put on the second containment while
temporary store in Production. Full 200liter drum shall transfer to scheduled waste store.

3. Appropriate label
* Labels for the containers should included Date of scheduled waste first generated, name of company,
address of company and telephone number. A dangerous sign as follow should pasted on packing too.

4. Recommended method of disposal


* Scheduled waste packed in 200liter drum must be collected by licensed collector monthly or when necessary and
send to prescribed premises for further disposal.

PRECAUTION IN CASE OF SPILL OR ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE


CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY

1. In case of inhalation of fumes or oral intake

* Symptoms of intoxication. – Irritating to respiratory system. Harmful and vomiting may caused if swallowed
* Appropriate first aid – Provide fresh air. Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped.
Wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person
* Guideline for the physician – – If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

2. In case of dermal contact or contact with eyes

* Symptoms of intoxication – Irritating to eye or skin


* Appropriate first aid – Flush with large amount of running water at least 15minutes.
* Guideline for the physician – If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF SPILL OR ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE


CAUSING MATERIAL DAMAGE ARISING FROM

1. Spill on floor, soil, road, etc. – Clean in with absorbent material and throw in metal container as scheduled wastes.
2. Spill into water - Cover with absorbent material, scoop in to metal container and disposed as scheduled waste. Contain
further spreading of liquids with loose sand, and transfer contaminated sand into suitable containers.
3. Fire – Used fire extinguisher typed foam, CO2 or dry chemical.
4. Explosion - None
