SINGAPORE MARITIME EXPLORATORY TOUR

Embark on an exciting journey on a chartered yacht, organized by Singapore Insurance Institute (SII),
to explore the Singapore Maritime industry through a guided tour to understand the maritime
operations and visit several infrastructures supporting the port and sea trade.

This tour focuses on Singapore’s maritime legacy and will help the participant’s
understand how its deep maritime roots influenced and shape the present-day
identity as a nation.

You need to report by 09:30 a.m. outside Prive Cafe at 2 Keppel Bay Vista, Marina at Keppel Bay,
Singapore 098382. Boarding may be denied if you fail to report by 09:45 a.m.

Nearest Bus Stop (9 min walk): B14131 - outside Caribbean at Keppel Bay

The nearest MRT train station to Marina at Keppel Bay (12-15 minute walk) is HarbourFront Station

4. What if I am late?

The chartered yacht will sail and will not wait for those reporting late. No refunds will be given.

5. Is lunch provided?

Light meals and refreshments will be provided. Pets, Durians, Red wine is strictly prohibited onboard.

6. Who is operating the chartered yacht and what are other terms and conditions?

Singapore Insurance Institute (SII) is only facilitating this event and has chartered the yacht with Aik
Chuan Yacht Charteres Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Aik Chuan Group.

A professionally qualified Skipper, employed by and/or as the representative of the Owner/Operator on


board the Charter yacht, has absolute authority and his instructions must be adhered to by the guests at
all times. The Skipper shall have the sole discretion on all matters concerning seamanship and safety of
the yacht. Guests causing any damage to the yacht will be held responsible.

Please note that all terms and conditions regarding liability, insurance, among others are set forth by Aik
Chuan Yacht Charteres Pte. Ltd. The guests are requested to review detailed terms and conditions at

7. What about curtailment of Chartered yacht?

Sailing will proceed in the event of bad weather and no refund will be given.
