INTERIM STORAGE CHECK

Preparation for Interim Storage of the Aircraft between 1 and 7 days.


As any required maintenance actions may vary according to the length of storage and local climate and conditions, the intended
operator of the Aircraft will carry out an assessment of the work required. Engineering and/or the Customer will confer and agree
on the extent of Engineering’s involvement in the carrying out of such work and of any charges that may apply.

PART 1 - PREPARE FOR INTERIM STORAGE MECH/ INSP

Ensure that landing gear ground-locks are installed AMM 32-00-20-201


1.
Note: Annotate the Tech Log to show that ground locks are fitted.

2. Apply electrical power to the aircraft AMM 24-22-00-201

Tow the airplane into a position that is specified for parking AMM 09-11-00-201

Make sure you move the airplane not less than 12 feet in a straight line before it is parked.

Consider any prevailing weather conditions:


4. 1) In the event of very high winds AMM 10-11-03-201
2) In the event of cold weather AMM 12-33-01-301

5. Chock all wheels fwd and aft AMM 10-11-05-201

6. Release the parking brake AMM 10-11-01-201

7. Carry out Pre-Flight Check IAW Form 767-05-20-02

8. Carry out 48 hr service Check IAW Form 767-05-20-04

Ensure at least minimum fuel quantity is on board AMM 12-11-02-301


9. Minimum 10% of tank capacity.

Check exposed Lavatory and Galley surfaces; ensuring extraneous matter that might putrefy

during the storage period is removed. Clean as required.

Empty Lavatory and Galley waste containers and clean if required.


Empty Galley ovens, beverage vessels and clean if required.
11. Remove any perishable material.

Note: Leave all internal closet, Lavatory and Galley doors open to aid air circulation.

12. Ensure aircraft has been fully cleaned.

13. Close passenger cabin window shades AMM 10-11-02-201

On P5 panel, use the Cabin Altitude Control in “MANUAL - DESCEND” to


drive the Outflow Valve to the fully closed position AMM 21-31-00-501

Note: Annotate the Tech Log to show that selector is in “Manual”.
Attach tags to the L/H control wheel in the flight deck as reminders.

15. Remove electrical power from the aircraft AMM 24-22-00-201

When you park the airplane for more than 24 hours, pull the circuit breakers:
Note: The circuit breakers for the Antiskid/Autobrake Control Unit must be opened
first. This will prevent error messages.
(a) Open these circuit breakers on the overhead circuit breaker, P11, panel:
1) 11U12, AUTOBKS/ANTISKID TEST/IND 1

2) 11U21, AUTOBKS/ANTISKID TEST/IND 2
(b) Open this circuit breaker on the main power distribution, P6, panel:
1) 6F4, PARKING BRAKE VLV
2) J10, HOT BAT BUS
Note: This will prevent a drain on the battery.

17. Close all of the main cabin entry doors AMM 52-11-00-001

18. Apply aircraft security seals as appropriate.

Drain & Flush Lavatory waste tanks and drain potable water system AMM 12-17-01-301

Install Pitot probe covers and static port covers AMM 10-11-01-201
20. Note: Annotate the Tech Log to show that blanks are fitted. Attach tags to the L/H
control wheel in the flight deck as reminders that these ports are covered.

Document the completion of these tasks on the Engineering defect sheet referenced to an
entry made in the Aircraft Tech Log stating:

21. “Tasks carried out in accordance with Thomson Airways Aircraft Interim Storage Check form
ENG/6812”.

This form to remain in Tech Log until final release to service.

22. Put the Airplane Back In Its Usual Condition for Return to Service AMM 10-11-01-201

23. Remove all Pitot probe covers and static port covers AMM 10-11-01-201

Note: The circuit breakers for the Antiskid/Autobrake Control Unit must be closed first.
This will prevent error messages.
Close these circuit breakers on the overhead circuit breaker, P11, panel:
1) 11U12, AUTOBKS/ANTISKID TEST/IND 1

2) 11U21, AUTOBKS/ANTISKID TEST/IND 2
Close this circuit breaker on the main power distribution, P6, panel:
1) 6F4, PARKING BRAKE VLV
2) J10, HOT BAT BUS

25. Apply electrical power from the aircraft AMM 24-22-00-201

26. Reset Capts and FOs Clocks AMM 31-25-00-501

On P5 panel, put the Cabin Altitude Control in “AUTO 1” or “AUTO 2” to

activate the Outflow Valve AMM 21-31-00-501

Run APU and operate ECS system AMM 49-11-00-001

Operate hydraulic systems and cycle flight control surfaces:

Aileron system AMM 27-11-00-001


Rudder system AMM 27-21-00-001

Elevator system AMM 27-31-00-001
Horizontal Stabilizer AMM 27-41-00-001
Flap and Slat systems AMM 27-51-00-001and AMM 27-81-00-001
Spoiler system AMM 27-61-00-001

30. Carry out Pre-Flight Check Form 767-05-20-02

31. Carry out 48 hr service Check Form 767-05-20-04

Document the completion of these tasks on the Engineering defect sheet referenced to an
entry made in the Aircraft Tech Log stating:
