“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MA. ANGELICA ROSEDELL
M. AMANTE, GOVERNOR OF THE PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE, TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION PESOS (Php3,000,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INDIGENOUS CULTURAL COMMUNITY/ INDIGENOUS PEOPLE (ICC/IP) TRIBAL HALL BUILDING LOCATED AT PUROK 5 BARANGAY CANAWAY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KITCHRAO, AGUSAN DEL NORTE.”
WHEREAS, the tribal community living in our barangay will gain a great deal from the proposed Tribal Hall Building Project in terms of socio-economic benefits;
WHEREAS, the Tribal building will support and uphold the community's indigenous identity by acting as a focal point for events, meetings, and cultural activities;
WHEREAS, the building may host cooperative projects, educational courses, and skill- development sessions to provide inhabitants with employment prospects;
WHEREAS, the structure can also serve as a makeshift shelter in times of disaster;
NOW THEREFORE;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Barangay Development Council (BDC) in the
regular session assembled, to REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MA. ANGELICA ROSEDELL M. AMANTE, GOVERNOR OF THE PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE, TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION PESOS (Php3,000,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INDIGENOUS CULTURAL COMMUNITY/ INDIGENOUS PEOPLE (ICC/IP) TRIBAL HALL BUILDING LOCATED AT PUROK 5 BARANGAY CANAWAY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KITCHRAO, AGUSAN DEL NORTE.
ADOPTED, this 15th day of April, 2024 upon motion of Barangay IPMR Oscar A. Anlagan and duly seconded by all Sangguniang Barangay members present, it was.
LET, copies of this resolution be furnished to the Municipal Development Planning Office of this Municipality, office of the Provincial Governor of this Province, Provincial Engineering Office, and National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) for information and appropriate response.
DONE AND APPROVED this 15th day of April, 2024 during the Barangay Development Council meeting and sponsored by Punong Barangay Charlemin P. Morales and duly seconded by all members present during meeting.
