    Perbedaan
    1. Past simple berfungsi untuk mendeskripsikan sebuah tindakan atau keadaan yang dimulai dan
    selesai di masa lalu. E.g : I bought five apples yesterday.
    Sementara itu, present perfect mendeskripsikan sebuah tindakan atau keadaan yang dimulai di masa
    lalu, tapi waktu selesainya lebih bervariasi yakni bisa di masa lalu, baru saja selesai atau bisa diulang
    lagi di masa depan. E.g : Emily has worked in Spain for two years.

    2. Tindakan past simple tidak ada hubungannya dengan masa sekarang. Jadi, tindakan tersebut
    dimulai dan selesai di masa lalu, sehingga tidak ada kaitannya dengan masa sekarang.

    Yesterday, Aunt Mary gave birth to a baby boy
    Sebaliknya, kalau present perfect memiliki hubungan dengan masa sekarang.

    Gunakan present perfect saat waktu kejadian tidak penting atau tidak dijelaskan.
    Gunakan simple past saat detail tentang waktu atau tempat kejadian dijelaskan atau diminta.
