INTRODUCTION
The Laboratory kitchen is one of the sensitive room in our home or school that needs to be
equipped with the right tools and equipments,Insufficient knowledge about laboratory kitchen
can have a impact on the performances of Grade 11 Home economics students at their
academic knowledge while also enhancing skills of the students not only in the proper use of
tools and equipments but also in cooking.When it comes choices and analyzing your going to
determine the tools that align in your cuisine or the product that your going to
make.However,there are often issues with the home economics strand such as,the insufficient
knowledge about the proper usage of tools and equipment of the students,which causes the
learners have complications with the products they prepare.If knowledge in tools and equipments
is insufficient it could cause a health hazard because the food could spoil or not be cooked
additional information that they can apply to their lives in general and their future in
particular.this is not only teach them about safety,but also help them develop responsibility at
their home.The researchers would like to introduce this study being agreed on which is all about
the availability of knowledge in tools and equipments to the students taking up the home
economics strand as we have all know that we are not the only class or as we say students who
are using laboratory for our own personal use,that needs the laboratory for their lecture. The
objectives of this study is to look at impacts of insufficient knowledge about the proper usage of
tools and equipments to help the learners to determine that the insufficiency of knowledge about
tools and equipment can affect the students knowledge,skills and academic performances and to
gave awareness that with the right usage of tools and equipment in kitchen can perform
This study is under qualitative research and the purpose is to determine and obtain information
about the The Impact of Insufficient Knowledge on the Use of Tools and Equipment In
Laboratory Performances of Grade 11 Home Economics At AISAT College- Quezon City. The
participants of the study will be Cookery Students in Grade 11 and 12,ages 16 to 18 level among
the various characteristics that might be used to describe the respondents. Only 30 senior high
school students are chosen randomly to be included as respondents for the school year
