Pre-operative Instructions
If your surgery requires general or spinal anaesthesia, do
not consume any food or beverages for a period of 6-8
hours prior to the surgery.
Follow all instructions as advised by your treating
doctor.
It is mandatory for a caretaker to accompany you to the
hospital.

Any deductions as per policy terms and conditions such as Co-pay, Non
medical expenses, procedure capping, proportionate deductions and
undeclared rejection cost has to be paid by the patient.
The final decisions regarding the procedures, surgery, treatments,
duration of stay, discharge etc. are taken by the treating doctor in the
best interest of the patient and with the consent of the patient. Practo
shall not be held responsible for the same.
The cash package should be cleared by the patient before the patient is
moved into the operation room. The final amount will be readjusted with
the final bill during the time of discharge.Any additional amount due to
such readjustments, will have to be paid by the patient before discharge
from the hospital.
One post discharge consultation is free and mandatory for the patient.
The bill value for cashless package may vary due to no. of days of stay,
complications due to comorbidities and others, additional procedures
planned during the surgery, equipment and consumables cost which are
not covered under insurance, post surgery complications, ICU stay and
others. In case of additional charges in lieu of the above, the difference
has to be paid by the patient.
In case of any insurance rejections or deductions, the patient has to pay

the final amount on the day of discharge.
Room allotment / type of room will be based on availability at the time of

admission and as per policy eligibility.
Care buddy will be assigned based on availability. In the rare case if the
care buddy is not available, our team will provide remote support.
This is only a tentative surgery confirmation, the actual admission time

and date may vary based on insurance approval, medical approval and
OT availability at hospital at the time of admission.
In case of reimbursement, E-Nach and patient agreement needs to be

signed before discharge and handed over to our third party finance
partner. Once Insurance/TPA approves and disburses the claim amount
to the policyholder account the same will be debited by the finance
partner as per E-Nach signed.
The Service fee shall be refunded if the procedure is canceled by QTIPL

due to doctor unavailability, operation theater (OT) unavailability, hospital
unavailability or if the procedure is canceled by the User due to EMI
rejection, unavailability of reimbursement option.
Where the procedure is postponed due to a medical fitment issue, the

service fee shall be non-refundable. However, the User will not need to
pay it again at the time of rescheduling of the procedure. The fee shall be
non-refundable in all other cases.
