    Morning Worship

    Monday, 27th May, 2024

    1. Quiet Time
    2. Hymn: Sing from PP Numb. 42:1-2 “See the Morning Sun Ascending”
     See the Morning Sun Ascending, radiant in the eastern sky
    Hear the angel voices blending in their praise to God on high!
    Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory be to God on high!
     So may we, in lowly station, join the choristers above,
    Singing with the whole creation, praising Thee for Thy great love.
    Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory be to God above!

    3. Opening Prayer
    4. Bible Reciting : Matthew 3 : 1-6
    3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
    3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
    3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying
    in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
    3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins;
    and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
    3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
    3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

     Send, O Lord Your Holy Spirit ,
    On Your servant now we pray,
    Let him prove a faithful sherperd
    That no lamb be led a stray
    Your pure teaching to proclaim,
    To extol Your Holy name,
    And to feed your lambs dear savior,
    Make His Aim and sole endeavor.

    6. Sermon : 1 Timothy 3:16


    “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the
    flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in
    the world, received up into glory.”
    7. Hymn : Sing from PP Numb 44:1 “God of Grace and God of Glory”
     God of Grace and God of Glory,
    On Your people our your pow’r
    Crown Your ancient churchs story,
    Bring its bad to glorious flow’r
    Grant our wisdom, grant us courage
    For the facing of this hour, for the facing of this hour.
    8. Intercessory Pray
    9. Hymn : Sing from PP Numb. 61 :1-2 “God Himself is Present”
     God Himself is present.
    Let us now adore Him
    And with awe appear before Him.
    God is In His Temple,
    All with in keep silence,
    prostrate lie with deepest re’vrence.
    Him alone, God we own,
    Him Our God and Savior,
    praise His name forever.
     God Himself is present.
    Hear the sharps resounding,
    See the hosts the throne surrounding,
    “Holy, Holy, Holy”
    Hear the hym ascending,
    Songs of saints and angels blending.
    Bow Thine ear To us here ,
    Hear, O Christ, the praises
    That Thy Church now Raises.

    10. Closing Prayer


    Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name,
    Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
    Give us today our daily bread.
    Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sins against us.
    Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
    For the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory are Yours, now and forever. Amen.
