NOTE ABOUT THE YARN I USED

I’ve used a yarn called Monaco which is a local yarn in the
Philippines. This yarn might not be available overseas, but you can
still use other yarns as long as they are similar to the colors of the
amigurumi in the pattern
 TIPS FROM A FELLOW CROCHETER

1 Read the whole pattern before making the

amigurumi to get an idea about what you’ll

2 Use bigger safety eyes if you are using a bigger

hook and yarn size.

3 Use the same brand or yarn weight when making

your amigurumi to ensure that the loops are

4 I’ve used the YARN UNDER OR X stitch single

crochet, but this is really optional. Just use the

CROCHET stitch you’re comfortable using ♡

5 Crochet the body, head, and other parts of the

body tightly to prevent the stuffing from showing.
TENSION
The hair, clothes, and other accessories should
be crocheted normally unless stated otherwise.

6 Use stitch markers or a piece of yarn when

crocheting to avoid miscounting the stitches.

EAR
❖ Get ear and sew it 7 stitches away
from the eyes. ( see picture for
reference)
❖ Sew the ears along the dots in the
picture.
❖ Make sure to adjust the
placement of ear by pre-fitting
the hair.

COLLAR
❖ Sew collar around the neck. Refer
to picture for reference.

CAPE
❖ Using the RED tail you left after
crocheting the spikes, sew the
spikes properly to the cape so that
no gap is seen. Refer to picture as
guide.

❖ Wrap the cape around the
shoulders of the amigurumi, and
sew it.

EYEBROW

❖ Get black felt cloth and cut the

eyebrows. Refer to picture as
reference for the shape of the
brows.

❖ Using fabric glue, secure the

eyebrows above the eyes. Refer
to picture as guide.

FOOT

❖ Get some red yarn and sew the

straps of the slippers. Refer to
picture as guide.

BUTTONS

❖ Get 3 flatback pearls or you may

use yellow felt cut into small
circles.

❖ Get fabric glue and paste the

buttons along the body.

POCKET

❖ Get some white yarn and sew the

pocket in between R34-35.

ASSEMBLY
Hair (Layer 1)
Step 1: Place a pin at the last row of the head (refer to picture below). I use
the pin as a guide as to where I’ll need to place the hair cap of layer 1. The
center of the head and the cap should both align.

Step 2: Sew the strands as shown in the pictures. Do not sew STR20-31 for the
mean time; you’ll first need to secure LAYER 2

Hair (Layer 2)
Step 1: Sew the base of layer 2 just above the strands 20-31 of LAYER 1. Sew
along the green line in the picture below.

Step 2: Pull back the strands of LAYER 2 to the back of the head, and secure
the strands. Then, tie it at the back using red yarn to secure it.

Hair (Layer 1)

Step 1: Now, we can continue sewing strands 20-31. LAYER 1 of hair. Refer to
the picture as reference as to where you’ll place the strands.

Step 2: Make sure to pull

the outer strands more as
compared to the middle
strands. This will help form
a heart shape hair line.

Step 3: Leave a gap

between strands 25-26.
Refer to picture as
guide.

 FINAL REMINDERS!

(OPTIONAL) Get some pink powder blush on
