Weather warnings have improved significantly over the years, from being basic in the past to becoming more advanced
and effective today. Weather services used to have (1) ______ information to issue warnings, even for typhoons. But
things have changed as cities grew, and people needed more protection from weather hazards like storms, floods, and
extreme temperatures. Nowadays, there are (2) ______ warning systems that can predict and warn us about these dangers.

Recently, electricity has been generated in Britain in many different ways. Most of it is produced using oil and gas;
but oil-burning power-stations are already being shut down, and gas has been much more extravagant to consume.

In the future, electricity will be generated from renewable sources. In the coming years, gas will be a vital source of
energy. It is much greener than burning oil, and also easier to extract. Gas can be used for cars and households, too,
