Title - Online Personal Assistant

Domain - Web application
Problem statement - In this fast moving and information rich world, it’s difficult for the business people to take
information about their clients in a single system. Present system has lots of manual work; it
does not mean that working with pen and paper. It also includes working on spread sheets and
other simple software's. It requires more number of employees to work, time consuming and
very less secure.
Solution - Developing an online application to provide a computer based personal assistant to the people.
Project outcome - The proposed system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the world as
well with proper login provided. So, information can be accessed through different systems.

Title - Palm Print Recognition Using Neural Network

Domain - Digital Image Processing, Neural Network
Problem statement - Nowadays Authentication of users is needed in many places from banking to opening of
doors in home. There are two approaches of the personal identification: the first method
is token-based authentication like a physical key, an ID card, and the second method is
based on Knowledge such as a password. However, these approaches have some
limitations. In token based, “token” can be stolen or lost easily and in a knowledge-based
in a certain degree knowledge can be forgotten or guessed. These can be easily hacked.
Solution - Biometric Authentication can be used instead of token and knowledge based
authentication.
Project outcome - Biometric Authentication is a branch of information technology that aims towards
establishing one’s identity based on personal traits. Palm print recognition is the process
of identifying a person on the basis of palm print pattern of the human.

Title - Library Management System

Domain - Application
Problem statement - Library is regarded as the brain of every institute. Many institutes understand the
importance of the library in the growth of the institute and their esteem users. At
Present library details are recorded in paper-pen format. Every entry, book list and
other details regarding library are maintained manually. It is difficult to maintain details
of thousands of books and students.
Solution - Developing software which would automate the functioning of a library.
Project outcome - The Developed system will allow performance of the actions needed in order to manage
the library in a simple and comfortable way. The actions will include addition/removal
of books, addition of members, book searches, penalty management etc. The data can be
analyzed easily
